It is likely Southern yellow pine I estimate these to be from 1970.so about 40 years old.they were finials atop a massive bed frame They all have some nicks. Dings, scuffs, and need the finish restored I love the ball tops& the detailed profile of the turnings& the sheer size of these posts These are rock solid& structurally sound The photos of all 4 Posts shows them on one side. And then I rolled them over so you could see the other side They all have 1' dowels firmly in place on the bottom. Set 4 red wood 1 5/8" Furniture Casters Wheels replacement vintage/antique new
This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The wheels are 1 5/8" in diameter. 3/4" width and the post is 1.5" long making the entire unit around 3.75" tall. Once you install this unit it will make you chair/furniture sit about 2 1/4" off the ground. I do not have mounting brackets for these units as the stem is a little wider than a standard unit so the auction is just for the wheels.

An old 20" Victorian Chair Splat never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. It is 8" across the top and 5 1/4" on the bottom and 1" thick. I got it from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc. It would make nice wall hanger with a nice antique finish. It has a slight curve as you can see in the photo. This craftsman had a shop in NY City at one time years ago and once made a set of chairs for Nat King Cole.

Check out this big old table.It truly is stunning. Big and Heavy. Island/dining Table. The top is unfinished and has not been bolted to the legs. I was going to stain and burn the top but you may have other ideas. The top is from an factory floor that was covered for over 100 yrs.It has been glued and biscuit joined. It was sanded somewhat. It could be sanded some more or it could be aged. Weathered or painted. Endless possibilities. I`m sure you have some ideas. It is heavy. Over 2" thick! It measures 66 5/8 x 31 1/8 x 2 3/8. The legs are heavy cast iron and measure 24" across the bottom,12 3/4 across the top and 30" high. and E-mail me with any questions at all before bidding. Big and bad. Pictures do no justice! TWO ANTIQUE VINTAGE VICTORIAN 14" WOOD LEGS FURNITURE SALVAGE
Two 14" Victorian Wood Legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They look like maple and are in very good condition. The tops are 2" by 2" and about 3 1/2" at the widest. They also have a small flat spot on them that's hard to see in the photos. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

Very cool. Hard to find Antique wooded casters with the original sleeves. They appear to be in good condition and fit into the sleeves very tightly. please look over the pictures real well and judge the condition for yourself as you get all eight pieces- 4 casters and 4 sleeves. Each caster measures 2 3/4 inches high and the caster itself is appx 1 inch in diameter- the sleeves are 1 1/4 inches- on the side the iron it says M3. These are not marked. 4 casters have 2" hard rubber black wheels. The 2 darker colored ones do not have a makers name on them. The older looking of the remaining 2 is marked FAULTLESS and the newer looking one is marked NOELTING-FAULTLESS. The lone caster has a 1 1/2" red rubber wheel. It is marked DIAMOND STEEL TRUCK CO. The metal portion of this caster has some brass coloring. It is inscribed with the capital letter E with a diamond beneath it. Casters are in nice. Vintage condition. This is a group of 14 vintage furniture casters-an odd lot of metal caster with a wood wheel. There are no mounting sleeves. The top 4 measure approx 1" in diameter. The middle row about 1 18" and the bottom 3 about 1 14" in diameter. There is wear, and some of the wheels are flat on one side, but none are broken through. All of the stems appear to be about the same size to fit into a standard metal sleeve. There might be enough to make a set of 4, but no 4 exactly alike-this is the last of the"restoration" casters that I had in a drawer for many years.
