Antique Solid Wood Carved Dining Table Apron Salvaged Furniture 8 Pieces Vtg
This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! 8 Antique Vintage Round Metal Furniture Remnants Hardware Ormalu #981
Up for sale are eight matching metal vintage hardware furniture remnants recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice reticulated form. It has a pewter colored finish. They appear to be remnants from furniture hardware, as there is a hole in the center where the pull might be. This hole has an approximate diameter of 1'8" in size. It is in a round snowflake form. These pieces are made of metal, but it does not attract a magnet. They each measures approximately 2 7/8" in diameter. The back is marked, Japan" with the number"981" A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed to accent any steampunk style project. Antique Piano Stool screw assembly, 8-1/2" tall, special locking mechanism
This auction is for a piano stool screw assembly. I don't know if it is truly unusual or not. But it is to me. This mechanism is designed so that if someone sits on it and spins it will not spin off or go down. By getting off the seat and lifting it slightly, you activate a locking feature that lets you raise and lower the stool top. When sat in, this is not engaged and it spins freely without turning the screw. It is about 8-1/2" tall. The large base that attaches to the bench is about 4" accross with four screw holes(screws not included) The shaft that goes into the base is 1-3/8" accross where round. One side is flattened a bit to lock in place. This is a really nice freely moving screw assembly with some rust showing as might be expected. This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The wheels are 1 5/8" in diameter. 3/4" width and the post is 1.5" long making the entire unit around 3.75" tall. Once you install this unit it will make you chair/furniture sit about 2 1/4" off the ground. I do not have mounting brackets for these units as the stem is a little wider than a standard unit so the auction is just for the wheels.

Here are 8 NOS antique caster(wheel) mounting brackets- the only wear is from age and handling they are unused and remain fully functional but there may be some signs of light corrosion. The set you are bidding on are not the ones pictured but are from the same lot. They are the most standard size so you most likely have this size casters- they are approximately 1 1/4" tall and the hole is approximately 5/16" It is best to install these brackets in the legs of the furniture first and then insert the casters. Then the caster is inserted into the insert where it snaps in and stays without falling out of the furniture leg when the furniture piece is lifted off the floor. The hardwood wheels are about 1 1/8" in diameter and about 5/8" in thickness. The stems are 1 1/2" long. 1/4" in diameter with a knob at the top that is 5/16" in diameter. These casters are very similar in size and look, but they are not exactly alike. Condition: These casters are used. None of the wheels are cracked or broken or have flat spots. 8 Replacement Caster Mounting Brackets/Sockets NOS with signs of age Most common size(these will most likely fit yours) See ruler in pictures for size comparison Approximately 1 3/16" tall Hole diameter is 3/8" I have two types of casters included in this lot- one set of four that appear to be newer and made of a thinner gauge steel and the other lot of four(the ones with signs of corrosion) are old replacements which have a heavier gauge steel(very strong) They are the same size and will work the same you just might want to use them on different applications. When installing: First check to see if your caster fits the bracket- then take it out but make sure to pinch the flanged tube of the bracket back in place with pliers(that's what holds your caster in the bracket) Now if your caster stem fits in ... morethe hole and extends past the tube of the bracket. At all, your caster fits- Even if it has play up and down, it's OK, many wheels have varying stem lengths, the important thing is that the wheels/casters don't fall out.they will still spin freely which is what your going for(you don't usually need to lift your dresser leg off of the ground.So you don't have to worry about vertical play) If the stem of your caster is two long for the hole of your furniture leg just drill it deeper with a bit the size of the bracket tube. Next center the bracket evenly in the hole of the furniture leg you're working with. Then tap the toothed portion of the bracket into the wood with a hammer- it won't get flush with the wood but it should be pretty snug, then put your caster in. Your set!

Offered for sale is this antique lot of 8 assorted brass Dresser Drawer Pulls in very good overall condition. No 2 are quite the same as they all vary in appearance slightly. They measure between 2 1/2" to 3 1/4" in length and are all screwed on to a pine board. The screw holes measure 2 1/2" apart on 3 of them and 2" apart on 5 of them. The metal does show some rust patina but overall for their age and rarity they are awesome. Each set are secured to each other by a wire I will leave them as found and you can take them apart. The porcelain wheels are near perfect can find no chips cracks etc and the only problem with the metal feet is some surface rust. They could stand a good cleaning they have been stored in the garage for many years. These are very old they came from my grandmothers estate sale. Pair of Antique Cast Iron 8" Wheels Industrial Factory Cart Hit Miss Steampunk
This is a pair of old cast iron wheels which measure approx. 8" x 2-3/4" and the center hole is 1-1/8" The one wheel had a light layer of grease on it when I got them which protected if from rusting but the other one didn't so it has some very light surface rust on it but are both very solid and heavy. A set of eight stamped brass pulls removed from an early 1820s Empire dresser I purchased on Cape Cod. They were removed because they are not original to the piece and are not the correct style for it. I have included a picture of it. But it is not included in the auction. They are a design I had never seen until depicting a square rigged sailing ship and a reclining classical figure of the goddess Aphrodite. I actually had a set of 8 of these that I sold on EBay a few months ago. Unlike that set, this one retains all of the original posts and nuts.
