Set of 4 Victorian Cast Iron Table Legs/Vtg Sculpted Horse Leg/15" Tall/Original
Set of four Victorian cast iron legs. Sculpted in the shape of horse legs. Lovely antique set of table legs measuring approximately 15" tall. Each weighs over 3 lbs and has four notches on top to screw legs onto a table. Bench, ottoman, chair or any number of wonderful creations you can make with these legs. Took many of the photographs with the legs upside down, hopefully to show them off better. Much of the off white paint is missing and there is newsprint stuck to the upper flat side of legs. Where paint is missing it looks as though there may be slight surface rust. But running my hand over one leg, it did not get dirty with rust, so it may just be the metal's natural patina. Checking out the metal I did notice that where paint is missing you can see grooves showing sculpted horse hair- a detail lost when covered with thick paint. ... moreBeing sold as-is, so please ask any questions you may have before bidding. This is a vintage lot of 4 beautiful matching ornate heavy brass pull handles. They're in very nice vintage condition with just some surface wear and small tarnish spots. They measure 7" wide x approximately 2 1/8" tall and are approximately 3 1/2" center to center on screw holes, and just be aware that the stems that go into the furniture are thick and you may need to slightly drill out the a holes in your piece a little larger. They are in good vintage condition under all the surface rust and paint build up but you look at the pictures to determine if you agree. We are not expert antique bathtub repairman. Three of them have their pattern still visible the Fourth ones pattern has been worn away over time as seen in the pictures. It can be put up against the wall though and wouldn't be noticeable that it is slightly different. Three have a bird claw holding onto a ball at the bottom of both feet. Nice clean condition, not greasy, very slight rust. Nice cast gray patina. They roll and swivel smoothly. Wheels measure 3 inches in diameter. They stand about 4 1/4 inches tall. 4 TABLE LEGS HEAVY DUTY STEEL METAL ADJUSTABLE TAPERED VTG MID CENTURY
For sale a Heavy Duty Set of 4 Black and Silver Vintage Table Legs that are made out of steel. These are fully and easily adjustable from 21 1/2 inches to 29 3/4 inches. The bottom discs on the legs are movable. The diameter on the top of the leg. The black part, is 1 1/4 of an inch and then the silver part tapers down to about 5/8 of an inch not including the steel bases. These have 4 top plates that screw into the table as shown in the pictures. This is a very serious set of table legs. These weigh with the top plates about 11 1/2 pounds so they are quality. I do not know the exact age of these and am only guessing as to the time period of when they were made. They might have been made in the 1970's or 1980's and not the 1960's as I am thinking. Vintage Mid Century Modern 4 piece Furniture Leg Set Danish Modern design. Tapered with metal accents. Each one has the screw to allow for easy installation. Made of a brown hardwood and these have been painted a brown color. Fantastic 50s/ 60s design. Each leg measures 14 3/4 inches long and is 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the widest point at the top. The metal accents are easily removed if you would like to repaint them or buff them. Originally came from a side table. Nice condition with very minor wear.
