4 + 2 Antique Industrial Brass Cup Swivel Casters Furniture Wheels
Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. The smaller ones have wheels that are just over 1 1/8" wide and 7/16" thick- the cups are just over 1 1/4" wide to the outside edges(inside is about 1 1/8" and it tapers down) the cups are just over 1 1/8" tall, and the entire piece is about 2 7/16" tall.

Vintage Set of 4 Brass Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage brass wheel casters with brass yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 9/32 inch inside diameter 1.5 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. Vintage clear plastic w/ gold speckled glitter 2" swivel wheels 4 rollers
I don't have the packaging for these. So I can't give a whole lot of history on them. They look barely used, if they were at all. There is some very light scuffing on the wheels, shown in the last two pictures. No gouges though, so that scuffing might just be from storage. They look great. The wheels have a 2" diameter and the insert is 1/4"

This is a matched set; all are marked Universal#5. They are supposed to have swivel action. But it is catchy on all of them. They will need a little restoration to be fully functional. About 3 1/4" top to bottom. Wheel diameter is about 1 1/4" wide. Not all of the wheels are perfectly round, examples shown in the pictures. I don't think any of them are way off though. Surface rust present. Tape residue present on the wheels and needs to be cleaned. Description- Very nice set of 3 wheel swivel casters used to move heavy objects such as stoves. Pianos and furniture. Individually casters weigh just under 2 lbs and measure 6 inches across from each point of the wheel. These are all a matching set and all are marked M.B. Schenck Co, Meriden Conn, although some marks are more visible than others due to wear and age. Not sure how long this company was in business. Lot of 4 Antique STEM CASTERS With WOODEN WHEELS With Swivel Inserts These casters have the insert that goes into the hole of the furniture leg. Then the caster is inserted into the insert where it snaps in and stays without falling out of the furniture leg when the furniture piece is lifted off the floor. The hardwood wheels are about 1 1/8" in diameter and about 5/8" in thickness. The stems are 1 1/2" long. 1/4" in diameter with a knob at the top that is 5/16" in diameter. These casters are very similar in size and look, but they are not exactly alike. Condition: These casters are used. None of the wheels are cracked or broken or have flat spots. Two of the wheels have no wear on the axle and two have some wear. But are still quite usable. All my items are from a nonsmoking environment.
