Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. We have up for auction today a set of 4 M atching L arge Cast Iron Eagle Claw and Ball Bathtub Feet! They are in good condition, but not perfect. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. They are heavy and solid. They measure 4in from front to back on top and is 5in wide at the largest part. They did come out of an old stone blocked house. Don't miss out on this great find! Hi. You are bidding on these antique/vintage four glassball and cast iron foot leg tips with a face J.I hope I took enough pictures so you can see the condition. All four of thebottoms do show that they have been previously used and are scuffed up. ONLYONE is in nice used condition with only a few minor chips in the glass ball.The other three do have worse flaws. One has a small dent in the glass ball. Itlooks to me it was made this way I don’t see how it could be damaged this way…Another one that I did take a few pictures of has a small hole in the glassball. And the last one in the front by the face looks like when it was made theglass ball was not completely round when it was place in the claw because thereis a small gap(see this flaw in the 2nd to last picture) As you can see the claws do have a face of some sort, I call ita lion. This auction is for an Antique Set of 6 Cast Iron Bathtub Ball and Claw Feet. Two are marked with the number 29 and two are marked L. The measure 6 1/2" across, the bracket sticks out about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" the slot opening is 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. They stand about 8" tall. They seem to be in very good condition, minimal paint loss, don't know if the paint is original or not. The set of four feet weigh almost 22 pounds. Set of 4 Antique Cast Iron and Blown Glass Claw Feet, Very Clean Salvage Stock
This listing is for a set of four cast iron and blown glass claw feet. These antique/vintage feet are most likely from the turn of the century. Late 1800's to early 1900's. This nice set has been painted gold and the paint shows some wear as is appropriate to the age. There is some light corrosion(see images) The blown glass shows scuffing on the bottoms as is normal but the glass otherwise is clear, un-chipped or cracked. They measure 4 inches tall from the bottom of the glass to the top of the leg, and they are 1 inch in diameter at the opening of the leg. Hard to find Set of four old antique bath tub feet with original hardware included(nuts and bolts) can be seen in photos, some of the tubs had slightly shorter feet in front these are from that type tubt two are painted silver because they were being used under the vanity in the bathroom that is the reason for installing the wood tops on them but they be easily taken out. They are in great condition with no breaks or cracks. These were originally the legs from a milling machine from back when objects were much more ornate. Now they can be turned into a beautiful and valuable piece of custom furniture. I prefer local pick up(in New Rochelle. This is a matched set of 4 antique cast iron coat hooks from the early 1900s. They are in good original condition and have a copper finish. There is some variation in patina. The back of each hook is marked"Pat. Apr 4. 1905" and also"47" Each hook is about 7- 1/4" wide. 5- 1/8" high and stands out about 3- 1/4" from the mounting surface. The rods are 1/4" in diameter and have 20 threads per inch(a common, standard size) The hooks can be mounted on a board that is 3/4" thick. If you want to mount them on a thicker board, you can replace the threaded rods with longer rods, OR countersink the nuts. This is a nice set with good casting detail and a mellow finish. Vintage Antique Cast Iron Cart Casters 2 3/4" Wheels Steampunk Industrial
Set of vintage cast iron 2 3/4" x 1" casters. Four casters measure 3 1/2" total height. One caster is 3 7/8" total height may be used as a center caster to be able to pivot the cart easier to change direction. One caster has a very small chip on inside of wheel, another has a longer chip but also on inside may not be visible when installed. Baseplate measures 2 3/4" x 4" aside from 2 chips overall nice. This is a nice set of 4 antique Victorian oak legs with cast iron ball and claw feet. They measure 29" high overall and are 1 3/4" in diameter and 3/4" in diameter at the top. They have dowel or dowel holes near the bottom and eye hooks where the bottom tier was attached. Overall they are in good condition. Shipping by Fed Ex ground would be 15.80 including insurance to the lower 48 states.
