Up for sale is this pair of vintage metal industrial factory cart swivel wheel casters. These casters are in good used condition with normal light wear. Each caster measures 2 7/8" tall and the steel wheel has a 2" diameter by 1" wide. The mounting plate measures 3" by 1 3/4" This pair was purchased at auction from the closing of the Historic Hershey Chocolate Factory Plant in Hershey. PA. Vintage Set of 4 Brass Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage brass wheel casters with brass yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 9/32 inch inside diameter 1.5 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. I don't have the packaging for these. So I can't give a whole lot of history on them. They look barely used, if they were at all. There is some very light scuffing on the wheels, shown in the last two pictures. No gouges though, so that scuffing might just be from storage. They look great. The wheels have a 2" diameter and the insert is 1/4"

4 Universal #5 metal wheel casters Vintage furniture rollers Swivel bearings
This is a matched set; all are marked Universal#5. They are supposed to have swivel action. But it is catchy on all of them. They will need a little restoration to be fully functional. About 3 1/4" top to bottom. Wheel diameter is about 1 1/4" wide. Not all of the wheels are perfectly round, examples shown in the pictures. I don't think any of them are way off though. UP FOR BIDS Vintage Brass Swivel Furniture Casters Set Of Four Complete With Stems These vintage rolling swivel style brass casters are in good working condition and were used on our vintage upholstered chair. These casters worked great on our rugs but when we removed the rugs and refinished the floors. They were too hard and scratched the finish so we replaced them with a set of soft rubber casters. All are in good working condition and are solid, weighing 6 oz. each. The one caster stem is missing a side piece that locks under the lip but the remaining side piece will hold the caster in place. I would eventually replace it though. All show signs of cosmetic wear and will look nice once cleaned and polished. The last picture listed will show all four of the stems with the stem that is missing the side being the last stem in the pic. Up for bid are(4) 1950's VinTage Metal& Clear Plastic Castors Wheels. They swivel and measure 2" in diameter and 3 3/4" high from the top of the stem to the bottom of the wheel. They are perfect for replacement wheels for many vintage items! They are all in excellent condition. They look as if they have never been used.
