They are very heavy and weight in at approximately 50 pounds each. These particular legs have the wide top adding more stability to the the top fastened to it. Five holes for fastening on top of each leg. Both legs have additional holes for mounting or additional items added to the legs. The measurements are well documented in the pictures. The red color appears to be over spray or an attempt to spray a portion of it. This could easily be covered. Item sold as is. The legs will be shipped in two different boxes. The legs will be crated with wood then placed in a box. Each leg weighs 50 pounds. With wood packaging it will be close to the 70 pound limit. The cross supports will be sent in a third container. Shipping will take longer with this particular item due to time and labor needed to create a proper shipping enclosure. When it is not screwed down, it does not sit flat, so it will need to be affixed to something flat(like a board) or have adjustable feet added(threaded chair glides and some nuts would work) or be shimmed(layers of felt, glued together to accommodate the varying distance between the base's rim and the floor) etc. If you have any questions. Machine Age Industrial Adjustable Cast Iron TABLE BASE LEGS Kenney Bros&Wolkins
These cast iron adjustable table legs date early 1900s. They are embossed KENNEY BROS& WOLKINS BOSTON N5. The legs measure each 13" across the bottom. 8 1/2 X 4 3/4" at the top; from 18" tall in the lowest to 24 1/2" in the highest position. Condition is very good. No cracks or breaks.

Industrial Machine Age PEDESTAL TABLE BASE ADJUSTABLE Cast Iron antique Eclipse
A very cool old cast iron pedestal base. Marked on the bottom with Heywood Eclipse. The base is 8 and 3/4" in diameter. It adjusts from 10 and 3/8" at the lowest to 17 and 5/8" at the highest. The adjustment works smoothly and can be made with an adjustable wrench or pliers. Feel free to ask any questions before bidding.

Here is an Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cast iron leg. Good condition. Wheels turn free. It was repainted in a cream color a LONG time ago, which seems to have prevented rust. There are no cracks. It has a nice ring when tapped. Please see the photos for the size of this item. These were sold in several different sizes. This was used on a full size Singer. These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. The usable space between the front and back legs, for a shelf for instance, is 15" The distance from the back of the splash brace to the front lip is 30.5" Distance between the outer edges of the front and back feet is 24" Each leg weighs just under 60 pounds. Bignall Medina NY Machine Age Industrial Deco Cast Iron Table Base Leg Old Paint
Please use the Supersize Feature on our pictures at the top and below the description as we consider them to be a very important part of our auctions- our photos show great detail and they are about the next best thing to"being there" Here is gorgeous antique cast iron table base or stand– it has a really great cross between Art Deco and Machine Age Industrial Steampunk designs. It also has some really fantastic old green paint on it. One side is marked MEDINA NY and the other side is marked BIGNALL CO. This stand or base stands 19 ¾” tall at the top rim and measures 8” across the bottom of the base. The circular top measures 13” across at the outside edges and 12 ½” across at the inside rim or shelf. One side of that inside shelf is marked 12 1/2. Each side has a graceful arched arm for supporting the top piece. The arches ... moreor support arms have a series of circular cutouts in graduated sizes. There is a small square nut sort of quick soldered or tacked in one of the smaller circles– it looks like it will pop right out with a bit of force and a screwdriver. But I left it there. The original owner must have modified it for some reason to suit his needs. It does not have anything to do with the structural integrity of the piece. The center post is attached to the stacked domed base. The top circular rim is attached with screws, nuts, and bolts- I took pictures of how the it is attached from underneath. There is no damage to this piece– no breaks. Cracks, or repairs. There is flaking and missing old green paint here and there with the original black paint showing through. The underside of the base has some rusting, but there are no areas of pitting or weakness in the metal. I gave this piece a quick wipe down with some warm water and a sponge and dried it completely– nothing else. This base will be a work of art– well, it already is. This is a very nice 2 tier or multi tier antique cast iron base that was made by Kenney Bros. Wolkins Inc. of Boston MA. It would make a great stand or end table and was originally part of an early school desk. It measures 29 1/2" high x 23" deep. The base is 11" wide x 16" deep, the bottom tier is 16 1/2" from the floor and is 9 1/2" in diameter, the upper tier is 29 1/2" from the floor and is 10" wide x 8 1/2" deep. joe calcite INDUSTRIAL OAK& CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS STAND BASE This offering is for a set of cast iron sewing machine legs/ stand. BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE. I've seen the queen anne style legs, with the curve and'shoulder' part of the cast iron. In this case, the cast iron legs come with oak legs with a groove in the back to fit snugly over the iron and screw on from the rear. This gives you the option of using just the iron legs, or dressing them up with oak as your mood and decor dictate. To complete the transformation, I have included the trim pieces from the original upper cabinet so that the oak runs top to bottom. Unfortunately, the lower 5" of one is broken off, but placed on the side facing a wall or sofa, it would go unnoticed by most. Given the unique character, many wouldn't care. There are no cracks or breaks ... morein the iron. The paint was originally brown. But is now heavily worn with some light rust in places. The finish on the oak was dried out and flaking badly, so the rest of the finish was removed with a stiff brush and the exposed faces were clear coated. The wood itself is also worn. The legs measure 16" wide at the top, 13.5" wide at the bottom. Total height is 28" The stretcher is 23" wide, but can be replaced with a heavy threaded rod to place them closer together or further apart. Casters work but have a few flattened spots where its been dragged perpendicular to the wheels. joe calcite CRESCENT No 4 BELT DRIVE GRINDER CAST IRON INDUSTRIAL MACHINE PEDESTAL This offering is for an antique cast iron pedestal stand taken from a line shaft. Flat belt drive stand grinder. The wording'NEW MODEL No 4 CRESCENT' is cast into the metal of the yoke. The piece was found at the sale of a blacksmith shop that operated from the mid 1800s to the mid 1900s through 3 generations. For those who may be interested, the grind wheels, shaft, and babiches are available. This pedestal would make a great base for a desk, dining or console table. The exterior has been cleaned thoroughly of the century of grease and dirt build up. There are no doubt a few nooks and crannies that retain some hardened grease. The whole thing was clear coated on the exterior. As shown. The yoke and base are separate pieces and will ship separately ... morepackaged. The base alone stands 22 1/4" tall, and 20" in diameter at the floor. This section weighs 112 pounds before packing. The yoke, which weighs 49 pounds before packing, brings the total height to 30 3/4" The yoke is 28 1/4" across, and 5" wide at the mounting surfaces at each end. The far right end of the yoke as shown in photo 8, is shown in close up in photo 9. It shows a piece of iron cracked off which was bolted back on at some point. The broken piece is a bolt mount for an add-on tool holder used with the grinder. It does not affect the strength of the piece or the mounting of a table top to the yoke. The last two photos show examples of this pedestal as a table base. The tops shown are for display only and are NOT included in this sale, but can be by prior arrangement.
