These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. The fronts are lovely acanthus leaves with a hole in the back where one would put the screw to attache them firmly to the wooden furniture leg. Please ask any questions. This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! They are about 30 pounds before packing! There are a few missing edges. Also include are the pieces that you screw to the bottom of your tab le. T hat slide into the grove on the back of these to hold the apron on your table. I think these are oak. But I am not a wood expert. So not sure. Late 1800's early 1900's roatating medical stand? The wood top is not original. The top is made with pine and is tongue and grooved together. Then stained and clear coated. Everything else is original. It has a Steampunk feel with the handle/knob on the side which lowers and raises the top. You can also tilt the table top. It has ornate an design on the metal and the wheels are iron castors. It has a nice thin layer of rust that gives it a great look. You could even clear coat it to seal it in and give it a shine. Selling a large glass claw and ball table foot. The glass ball is a amethyst color and is 3 inches in diameter. The glass ball has have a couple of small fractures in the glass. They are in great condition with no breaks or cracks. These were originally the legs from a milling machine from back when objects were much more ornate. Up for auction- amazing carved wood Victorian furniture salvage. Think these were legs originally- now endless possibilities for upcycling. This auction is for 2 pieces that do come apart, if the new owner should so desire, for a total of 4 pieces. Being offered"as is as found" some scuff marks and chips, some alligatoring to the finish. Whatever they were- legs, corbels etc, they were beautifully made, dark walnut in color, not sure of the wood though. Decorated with carved scrolls, curlicues and leaves, peg construction for the 2 pieces- they fit together snugly or could be used seperately. fit together they measure 21 3/4 inches high, one end measures 11 7/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches, the other end measures 7 1/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. From base cap to the top of the wood of the leg measures 7 3/4 inches tall. 1 inch across base cap with plastic inserted, and thread measurements vary from 1/4 inch- 1 1/4 inches long.
