This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. A set of 4 unusual style porcelain casters. The porcelain wheel is apr. 1 7/8 inch in diameter and apr. 1 1/4 inch wide. The overall height is apr. 5 inches with the shaft part being 3 inches long. One of the casters has some chips on both side of the wheel by the hub/ axle part which is shown in a close up. The chips do not affect anything. The porcelain does show wear/ staining? where it made contact with the floor. The porcelain will need a good cleaning with the proper cleaner. The pictures should show the rest. Dresser Wheels Casters Wooden Rollers Wheels Replacement Wood Casters ~Set of 4!
Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. Vintage Set of 4 Brass Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage brass wheel casters with brass yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 9/32 inch inside diameter 1.5 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. Vintage Set of 4 Steel Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage steel wheel casters with steel yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 1/4 inch inside diameter 1 3/8 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. Set 4 red wood 1 5/8" Furniture Casters Wheels replacement vintage/antique new
This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The wheels are 1 5/8" in diameter. 3/4" width and the post is 1.5" long making the entire unit around 3.75" tall. Once you install this unit it will make you chair/furniture sit about 2 1/4" off the ground. I do not have mounting brackets for these units as the stem is a little wider than a standard unit so the auction is just for the wheels.

They have age appropriate surface rust.
