I have a beautiful antique wood dresser for sale. It was a family friends grandmothers dresser so it is very old! Has a art deco style to it. It's a very large and solid piece in overall good condition. It has some scratches here and there but overall looks great! It has all the handles and knobs included but two knobs just need two new screws. The mirror attaches to the back and can be left off if you dont like the look of it! Great in a bedroom as a dresser. Or in a living or dining room as a buffet server or even as a tv stand,or media console. Heavy piece so you must bring help to move it! Made out of Maple it has a date stamped of March 30th. 1941 on the inside rail of one of the drawers. A very clean piece, all drawers are solid oak on the inside and they open and close smoothly. True vintage piece- awesome Art Deco"Waterfall" style Warm brown with a slight cherry reddish tone Tiger maple look grain in the wood(I'm no expert on the wood types- see the pics! 4 drawers. Original mirror, shelf areas in the middle Measures 44" wide. 19" deep, 28.25" tall plus mirror(62.75" tall including mirror) The mirror is 36" wide including the wood frame. And it comes apart from the base for easy moving. No chips or cracks in the wood. Lovely finish. With no water stains or scratches! Wow. The mirror is also true vintage. So it does have slight wear in a couple spots(meaning black or brown spots where the mirror"silvering" is gone) typical for an old mirror. But no chips or cracks or crazing. It is in excellent condition(sorry for the streaks on the mirror- we forgot to windex ... moreit again before taking the photos! Clean drawers. Gold toned hardware The outer sides of the dresser seem to have had veneer originally. But it was probably chipped, so it seems to have been removed and the wood underneath was stained to match the dresser. It's common for vintage veneers to chip, so that's probably what happened. It's not noticeable that it should have been there- see pics- but we thought we'd mention it, as we try to mention all so-called"imperfections" Also. As you can see in the photos, there is more than one kind of wood used on this piece, making for lots of personality. The darker"tiger-like" wood on the drawer fronts is very beautiful!
