There are some worm holes, so I know it has some good age, and spent a good portion of its life in Europe. The top is a more modern needlepoint with a petit-point flower center. beautiful colors. There are a few stitches of the needlepoint missing and a tiny tear in one corner(not noticeable at all) The underside shows the age and construction of the wood. you can see the very old glue holding the hand made joints together. You can tell that the legs are all hand carved because they are slightly different and not perfectly matched machine made. You will love this piece. its a real gem!

This piece is in very good condition, especially considering its age. There are some noticeable scratches and wear to the top surface and a few areas with eveidence of worm damage. One of the feet also has some signs of a minor repair. No other breaks or damage beyond light wear consistent with use. Antique French Provincial Dresser ASCP Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Fredericksburg
Antique French Provincial solid wood high boy. Hand painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint and lovingly glazed with Martha Stewart metallic paint. Original pulls.Color may not be true depending on your screen settings. So I will describe it. Underneath is a very subdued purple and it is then washed with a neutral lightest tan or dingy white. The piece was then washed with a silver metallic gray. The color looks more to me as a silvery gray with the slightest bit of a purple undertone. Because of the scalloped edges, all measurements are taken at the broadest area- 49 inches tall, 36.5 inches wide, and 19.5 inches deep.

GORGEOUS vintage/antique mahogany two piece dresser victorian/french provincial
This is a gorgeous mahogany dresser.I'm not sure of it's age.But it's a high quality REPRODUCTION of 19th century furniture with all the details and craftsmanship.It's made of mahogany inside and out.The seven drawers have dovetail joints and four have a lock.I don't have the key but I'm sure you can have one made. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. There are some minor scratches.Chipped veneer and chipped molding as seen in the pics.There's also some indentations on the top from someone using it as a writing surface but this piece is fairly tall so it's not that noticeable.However,this can easily be removed once stripped and sanded if ... moreyou choose to repair it. It also has one knob that's not original on the drawer with the scallop detail. I'd say most of this piece can be touched up and just the top could be stripped and refinished if you feel the indentations are noticeable.
