Cool antique leather top coffee table I have had for probably 13-14 years. We don't use it anymore. So it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Fairly good original shape other than some later added small supports on the under side. Normal wear and tare for something of this age with some cup rings. But over all good used shape. The bottom shelf. At the narrowest point, measures 15 inches across square. The glass balls in the feet measure 3 inches across and the legs. At the widest point, about half way up, measures 3 1/4 inches across. This table is not marked. Signed, dated, stamped or otherwise labeled. There is a small dark stain to the table top that measures approx 4inches by 2 inches. A darker spot next to that as well but not sure what that spot is. Both can be seen in the last picture. There are no major chips. Cracks or other issues to any part of the wood. It is possible this is a Louis F Nonnast table made between 1878-1888. Antique Nautical Engraved Copper Top Sailing Ship Art Table
This is a beautiful Antique Copper Top Nautical Table. The top of this table is a real piece of metal work. The top center depicts a sailing ship on the sea. The whole top is detailed with metal art work. The top including wood is 24 ¾ inches x 16 ¾ inches. The wood frame around the copper top comes off because it seems the former owner attempted to clean and polish the copper many years ago. The 6 screws holding the frame down were not replaced and do not come with the table. The copper can be removed. The only thing holding it in place is the frame that stays down snuggly without the screws(covenant for cleaning) There is some damage to the woodwork on the frame(Photo 11 on the bead work) most likely due to years of use. The legs of the table are wood shaped like lyres(stringed musical instrument) The Table stands 19 ½ inches ... morehigh. You will see craftsmanship all over this ornate nautical table. I have attempted to find the maker of this table with little or no luck. I do not know the age of this table. I was told by knowledgeable antique professional that the lyres indicate primarily makers would be from Britain. Germany and France if it were 17th to 18 century. I do not believe this to be the case. She suggested that it looked like a piece of 19th century American furniture, most likely Duncan Phyfe since lyres were kind of like a Duncan Phyfe trade mark since they used lyres on so much Duncan Phyfe furniture. She was stumped by the nautical copper top. She suggested it may have been a modified Duncan Phyfe or other manufacturers table done by a artist coppersmith. Who knows, it’s a mystery. I do know this is a wonderful solid piece of art. I will leave the detective work for the new owner. There is some slight water stains on the wood. There is some patina on the copper. It looks as though the previous owner attempted to clean the copper top with a metal cleaner and left white residue in the rough areas on the top. Antique Heavy Cast Iron Scrollwork Dining Table Base The base is 28" tall and the base measures 35" wide from one foot to the opposite foot. The upper"x" table support is 19" wide. Each direction. There are holes in the ends of the top"x" so that a table top or substructure can be screwed down to it. The tube in the center of the cast iron base is hollow- 1 3/4" in diameter inside. The tube is not open ended. So if you wanted to use as a patio table base, a pole would not go all the way to the ground. Aesthetically speaking, that would probably look better anyway. The base is incredibly sturdy. Weighs about 45 pounds and it once held a 200 pound bluestone table top. It is very solid and an incredible piece of craftsmanship. Very pretty petite antique coffee table. This table is special in that it is two tables for the price of one! The overlay is a wood trimmed glass top. Wood is slightly separated. My guess is with a clamp would piece right back together. The glass provides a perfect table for drinks so you don't get any water marks. The under table is wood. So pretty and classic. Small chip as shown that with wood touch up pen could easily be covered. Legs are nicely detailed and cross stretcher adds a touch of class. Overall, a great table for any room. This is a beautiful Victorian age solid mahogany split pedestal base ball and claw banquet table that comes with three 11-inch-wide table ... moreleaves dating from the 1900’s. The table looks like it has been refinished by the previous owner within the last 10 to 15 years. But it does show normal wear and tear and some nicks and dings. It comes with a skirted single leaf and two unskirted leaves, all 11 inches wide. The table has been finished in a dark reddish-brown rich luxurious mahogany stain with a satin sheen lacquer, and it’s a pretty nice quality job, as the pictures will show. The only flaw I can see is that where the table closes, the table leaf doesn’t close up completely on the seam. This happens quite a bit on split pedestal tables, and it just needs a latch put underneath to tighten it when the table is closed. The overall size is 54 inches wide when closed, and 29.5 inches tall. When the three table leaves are inserted, it is 87 inches long. This gorgeous table has a lovely ogee beveled edge around it on the top, with a three-inch mahogany skirt, and it sits upon a split pedestal bulbous turned center column, with four finely detailed ball and claw talon feet. The legs and curved apron came off of an old folding table which was about to be thrown out. The side aprons and top are new. A nice old antique furniture table with a two toned wooden top. The base has a nice finish in what appears to be the original paint. The top is made in strips of alternating different colored woods. The table has some wear from age and use(see photos) The table has one drawer. This is a great early American Primitive table. The table measures 2 feet 3 and 1/2 inches high. 2 feet + from the front edge of the top to the back and the table is 2 feet 10 inches wide, I would date the table to be 100 +/ years old.
