Lovely, Victorian style, caned top glass covered coffee/side table-oak
I am not sure how old it is. It was purchased in an antique shop and has been in a private home for 30 years. As you can see in the picture some of the caning is broken(I didn't even see it at first) but with the glass top it functions perfectly as a side table or coffee table. The oak is a pretty not- too- dark brown. The wood insert gives this piece a lot of interest. measurements are approx 3feet long by 18-20 inches wide and stands 2 feet tall. THIS CAN NOT BE SHIPPED. I took this vintage belber suitcase and built a base for it and put a thick piece of glass on top to protect it. I did not permanently attach them I didn't want to ruin the suitcase. So I used rubber stops to keep it from sliding around. I placed vintage postcards under the glass they can be taken out and put whatever you want under or nothing at all.
