And only find similar items listed as Chinese. the vase is@ 9.25" tall. the landscape scene surrounds the entire vase, and the detail is extremely fine and raised in places. the only defect that I find, is that the bottom has been cut out. I would imagine this was done in order to convert it to a lamp? A nice old oriental ceramic vase converted into a lamp a long time ago. The lamp has an adjustable socket rod and goes from about 1 foot 8 inches high to 2 feet in height. The lamp is 4.6 inches wide at the wooden base. The ceramic portion of this lamp is 11 inches tall. There is some normal wear from age and use and some chips to the carved wooden lamp base.

The Screen depicts an encounter between a Giant Sage and his Attendant. The attendant is pointing to something in the distance and trying to gain the attention of the Sage. Elegant Antique Chinese Pair of Ruyi Scepters with Carved Jade & Rosewood Base
Beautiful pair of Ruyi Scepters with light green/ white jade inserts and hand-carved rosewood base.The Ruyi Scepters have a very simple yet elegant design with carved rose wood base. The one base is detailed with a carved dragon and the other base with a flower. The jades are lightly decorated on the front. Each piece is signed in Chinese but unfortunately; I can’t make out what it says. The jades are in excellent condition and the rosewood base as well. However. There is some slight scratches on the wood base probably a sticker that someone tried to remove. The scepters in my best opinion are early mid-20 th Century but the jade maybe much older. The top part has a brass ring around it. And under that it looks like wood painted black. The brass ring has a lot of paint chipped off. If you only count the red part of the lamp it is 12" high. If the lamp pieces were all put together properly it would be almost 17" to the top of the socket. It's mounted on a metal base this is partly ... morecorroded. The metal lamp parts on top do not screw in properly. I don't think the part with the threads that is attached to the top of the vase is long enough.
