They each vary slightly in size, not all exactly the same size. approx. 5/16ths to 3/8ths of an inch in diameter each. But never thought the marbles mirror surface would pick up the coins reflection in some of the shots taken, and might be confusing when evaluating these handsome little devils through the photos. Hello Ebay buyers. I have up for auction is one of my great marble collection that I recieved from my grandfather. I am not a marble expert nor do I really know how to tell who's company and when these great looking marbles were produce. There is a total of 460 marbles in the pictured above with other pictures of sets in 20 marbles a set. Antique Marbles in a Bell Jar Lamp 230+!!!! Wow.
This is a Rare if not one of a kind treasure. It is an old ball jar. 7" high 1' to top of the lamp. The lid has a worn antique appearance. What I gather about this piece is that it was a boys prize marble collection and when he grew up, he made it into a lamp. Many of the clay marbles in the jar do have"playing spots" on them but the collection is in very good shape. 230 plus beautiful handmade and machine made antique marbles, working lamp. this is a one of a kind treasure, and I am not a collector, so they are unsifted variety marbles. good luck bidding! hope you win!

Vintage MARBLES ?? antique Marbles?? Green swirly marbles
Well this is the deal folks. These marbles are ones I played with at my Greandparents while visiting them. They are from thier childhood at least most of them. I however am not an expert or a enthuesiest. But as a child loved to roll my hands through them finding the ones i thought to be the prettiest. So all i am doing is selling lots of marbles in what i think are sets or similar in color and who knows if there's a valuable one in the mix or not. I'll leave that for you to decide. Here are two antique handmade transparent swirl marbles. One is a latticinio with a white core; the other is a divided core with red. White, and blue inner ribbons. They are damages- more than the photos show- many chips. Some of the photos are taken wet to show the insides better. They are the same size, but not true round, so they measure 5/8 to 11/16 inch depending on how they are turned when measuring. They aren't the best, but they are better than none.
