I can tell that it's made of oak, the carving is very well executed, and the table is overall in very good condition. Size- it's diminutive. Just 24" in height, 21" wide at large side of oval, 18.5" at small side of oval. When closed, table is just 6.5" across, so closed size is 18" x 6.5" I believe that the table has it's original finish; I've kept the table in a quiet corner of the house. And have oiled it a couple of times(with orange oil) while in possession. There is a'patch' on one of the'leaves' where it split some time ago. The split is visible on the table top- but in my view does not take anything way. On the underside of the table two metal straps were added for support. The drop leaves are 23" long and 45" wide at their widest. The 8 legs are 29-1/4" high. The table has the Conant Ball Furniture Makers mark and the numbers 2021. 1869. In addition, one leaf is marked 1 in a circle with D14 next to it and the other leaf is marked 2 with D14 next to it. Condition: The table is in near MINT Condition. One gouge on the top of the table(please see picture with the penny in it) Any other incidental marks you may see on the top of the table are dust only- this table has been in storage for 15 years. One of the leaves needs one of its three panels reglued where it has started to separate from the other panel. This is not a split in the wood.
