The wood base is in overall good condition and structurally sound. The varnish and wood does have normal wear for its age. The pedestal legs have a detailed carved design and the center was hand spun on a lathe. Included are two newer marble tops that easily screw on. One measures 12" across and 1/2" thick. The other is 11" across and 3/4" thick with an inset. This one has a few dings on the underside along the outer edge. Nothing major. This was ... morea Chicago Illinois based company. This box has a great design featuring a bald eagle perched on or holding the company's logo and a picture of what I assume to be their factory. The box appears to be from the first half of the 1900's. However I have no way of knowing for sure. Unfortunately the utensils seem to have been used long ago and the box is now empty however it would make a great display item in any kitchen or would be a great piece to add to any cutlery collection. The box is in shabby chic condition and does show loss to the label. Staining, nicks, dents, etc. However the box does present quite well and is in nice condition for it's age! Dimensions 14.5"x10.5" by 16.5" tall. For sale is an antique hand made wooden italian table that plays a song just like a music box when the top is opened. The top surface itself is in good shape. The music plays and cranks fine. The table itself is solid but its design does cause it to be fragile and doesn't feel like it should really have too much weight on it. The top does shut but only if you press down firm because the latch doesn't line up exact. I do not have the key so it will not lock. The base of the top had a hairline crack that went all the way around the table as pictured but it has since been repaired and is barely noticeable. Antique Italian Butler Table
This table belonged to my grandmother and it was given to her by her mother as a wedding gift late 1800's to early 1900's. Not really sure of the date. An appraiser estimated 1895-1920. The table is very ornate and hand carved with cherub angels serving as the legs of the table. The base is also very ornate. Classified as a Butler Table, the top lifts off and was utilized as a serving tray. I do have the glass but it is separate from the table since the wooden piece that held the glass is broke. The glass is scratched so you may want to replace it. The top has small inlaid pieces of wood that make up a flower design in the center. The top does have some marks that look like a flower pot was set on the table that left a stain along with some minor scratches. All in all, the table is in remarkable shape for it's age. Very Old Antique Candle Plant Primitive Table Walnut or Mahogany Wood Stand NR
This auction is for a very old candle/plant stand. It is from the 1800's. It has been in my family for many generations. I am not sure if it is walnut or mahogany. I was told it was walnut but just not sure how to tell. The photos show the condition of the stand. You can see on the top and the bottom of the top piece. It does come off and you can glue it permantly if you like. When I ship it I will wrap the round piece off of the stand and that will protect it better. I just left it as is. The top piece has some seperation in the wood and you can see on the bottom where it has been held together with old clips. It has a little area where the wood is chipped on the bottom rim. up for auction is a fantastic period mahogany drop leaf table. the center board is one board. Each drop leaf is one board. the table has slide mechanism to hold the drop leafs up. they work well and are of wonderful design and construction this is a very early piece and is all original as far as i know. it is very sturdy. Does not wiggle or wobble or have any loose parts. the pedestal is inserted into the top support board and has soaked and wooden wedges placed all around it to keep it in place. i doubt that you could beat the pedestal out of it's position with a post mall. very very solid and sturdy. the legs are strong and do not wiggle or wobble at all and they have small wheels on the bottom. they are not warped in any way. the table opens and is level and the slides hold the leaves with no swag whatsoever.anyway. This is for a small table-it is marked berkey& gay and G or C 48 on the bottom-it is about 23 1/4" tall=26" long and 17 3/4" wide-it has been refinished at one time-it is only missing a tiny peg on the bottom of one leg so it seem to not sit flat-but that is easily replaced as they are just on the very bottom of the legs-otherwise it is nice- it has some squares on the top and i do not know if maybe it had been repaired or something-i am selling for a friend of mine so i do not know a whole lot about it as i mostly sell paper and once in awhile a neat collectable-i really do not know how old it is or anything about it- so if someone does and wants to let me know please do- it is a very cute small table-Please e-mail with any questions.

This table was purchased in 1998 at an antique mercato in Naples Italy. The exact year of manufacture is unknown. But was sent to a local craftsman who said it was hand made and probably around 100 years old or more. I have the shipping document from Italy attached as a photo. Antique 8' Harvest PLANK BOARD Wood Farm Table RARE PRIMITIVE DOVETAILED CORNERS
Offered for sale is what is most likely a ONE OF A KIND 8' harvest table. The table was purchased at an estate auction so unfortunately there is no provenance as to the date but one can assume it is most likely from the early 1900s or even the late 1800s. It features 3 knotty pine planks on top that have lots of character. They all have maintained their form very well. It is most likely because one point someone either sealed it or refinished it and it looks great! The table has a bright golden oak with a red shade to it. Depending on the screen you are using the color could drastically change. Our PC shows the buffet lighter and duller than it is but on the mobile app they appear accurate. There are a couple small cracks at the end but nothing is affect. That and other condition issues have been described in the item condition section ... moreso please look through that if you haven't already. It is a surprisingly light but sturdy table and is assumed that with the planks being pine that the base is too. This is great because if you need to move it around you don't have to assemble a team of people to move the table like you would with a solid oak table this size! The main thing that makes this table unique and most likely one of a kind is the corners of the table. Every antique farm table or reproduced table with reclaimed wood has your turned legs showing on the corners and the side fascia board butts into the corner. There are a couple we have seen that wrap the post and just have one board nailed into the edge of another. Whoever made this table took a very creative approach and HAND CUT DOVETAIL JOINTS to cover the posts. Which were notched in to accommodate the boards. You can look at every corner and see they are all different and some with the cut marks going past where they should. WHAT A FIND! Not only is this extremely unique to find in this(or any antique) table but the dovetail design and the nails into the post almost assures you that the corners will not move around or come apart! Antique End Table/Side Table. Dimensions: 30 inches tall 16 inches deep 20 inches wide Condition: Rough. Parts of the table are solid wood, and part are wood veneer. On the base there is a six inch section were the rope trim is gone. Some of the veneer on the drawer front is missing along the edges. Veneer on the left side is cracked and peeling. The left hand side of the bottom shelf veneer is cracked and starting to peel. Sometime during the years it was painted green and black. I don't think that was the original color. I am not sure what kind of wood it is made from. Despite all the condition issues it is still a sturdy table. I don't know if the carvings are done by hand or not. Columns are fluted and have tulip like carvings around the base. The tulip carvings only go half way around. Item will be professionally packed shipped ... moreand insured. Antique Pine Trestle Coffee Table. Dimensions of the coffee table are 44 inches long by 19 inches wide by 18 inches tall. Condition: This piece has a lot of character including shapes. Faces and letters carved into the wood. Looks like it was done by children. I don't know exactly how old the table is. It is missing one of the pegs that holds the trestle together. I put a pine peg in just to hold it together. I like it the way it is, but it could easily be refinished. Also the 2 feet that it sits on are a little loose, It could either be re glued or a couple of screws could be added to tighten it up. Antique Steampunk NYB Company NY Vintage Industrial Cast Iron Drafting Table. Table Top is approximately 81 1/2" Long x 40 1/2" Wide x 1 1/8" Thick. When cranked all the way down with the table top flat it sit approximately 38" above the floor. When cranked all the way up with the table top flat it sit approximately 46" above the floor. To raise and lower the drafting table you turn the lower wheel facing the draftperson/architect. You turn the wheel clockwise to raise the drafting table or counterclockwise to lower the drafting table. Once you have the drafting table at the desired height it stays in that position until you turn the wheel. The drafting table tilts/angles approximately 75 degrees towards the draftperson/architect without the two bolts as seen in the photo there is an additional 5 to 10 degrees of ... moretilt towards the draftperson/architect. The bolts are there because the retired engineer who used this drafting table for work changed its function to a regular table for his reasons. To adjust the drafting table top to the tilt/angle you want you turn the top wheel which is facing out on the right side of the drafting table. You turn the wheel counterclockwise to release the pressure so you can adjust the tilt/angle of the drafting table. Then you turn the wheel clockwise to apply pressure to secure the position of the tilt/angle of the drafting table top. You can see the gears and mechanisms in the photos. It is a really neat piece of history. This is Local Pick-up only. After the New Year that could change.
