This is a beautiful Victorian age solid mahogany split pedestal base ball and claw banquet table that comes with three 11-inch-wide table ... moreleaves dating from the 1900’s. The table looks like it has been refinished by the previous owner within the last 10 to 15 years. But it does show normal wear and tear and some nicks and dings. It comes with a skirted single leaf and two unskirted leaves, all 11 inches wide. The table has been finished in a dark reddish-brown rich luxurious mahogany stain with a satin sheen lacquer, and it’s a pretty nice quality job, as the pictures will show. The only flaw I can see is that where the table closes, the table leaf doesn’t close up completely on the seam. This happens quite a bit on split pedestal tables, and it just needs a latch put underneath to tighten it when the table is closed. The overall size is 54 inches wide when closed, and 29.5 inches tall. When the three table leaves are inserted, it is 87 inches long. This gorgeous table has a lovely ogee beveled edge around it on the top, with a three-inch mahogany skirt, and it sits upon a split pedestal bulbous turned center column, with four finely detailed ball and claw talon feet. Here for your consideration is a Lovely Victorian Oak Oval Coffee/Parlor Table. We were told the table is oak. It measures 29" by 23" and is 19" tall. This table is quite heavy and very sturdy. I have tried to take pictures to show the condition. It is possible that it has been worked on in the area of the legs. This is a great looking table that would compliment any room! Antique VICTORIAN MARBLE TOP PARLOR TABLE Walnut Base Lamp Stand Eastlake Style
Beautiful walnut marble top stand. Center table, lamp table with a great base. The top shape is unusual. It is flat on the long sides and has an architectural curved shape on the ends. Wood base matches shape of marble. Marble is not attached to base. Both pieces are original, no screws, no broken pieces, minor fissures from age. Stable, sturdy base. There is a fissure on the very bottom underneath in the center. Original to piece as it's been repaired with a nail that matches all other nails. No chips on the corners of the marble. One small fissure in one corner. Like a shallow chip. Does not distract from piece. Two very small scratches next to this. Normal slight surface scratches normal for a piece this age. Base is smooth to the touch. No rough areas. Base(top) measures- 20" by 13" Base of feet are 12" apart. All four ... moresides.
