This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. This is a gorgeous pair of table legs. Set of two front legs for an Occasional table. They are solid wood. I’m not positive what the wood is, but it looks like maybe pine, possibly hickory? Not really sure but they are gorgeous! The legs are pretty heavy and sturdy. You can see sand marks from the machine or electric tool that was used and I’m not certain this was sculputed out of one solid slab as I can see lines where they met the pieces after carving them. These are definitely in need of refinishings, one area has a ding but all these look like they should be easy to fix for a wood specialist. I have tried to picture the most obvious and biggest marks. This old cabinet is solid and strong– how much touch up work you put into will be determined by what level of shabby chic you like the most. I have not scraped or scrubbed this cabinet– a simple wipe down with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt and a few paint flakes. The original back panel on this piece is no longer attached. Although the nails that held it in place are still there(there could be a few missing nails) The outside measurements ... moreof the medicine cabinet are the following: the cabinet stands 32” tall from top to bottom, is 17 ½” wide from side to side, and 4 ½” deep from front to back. The door panel is 20” tall and 13” wide and the beveled mirror insert is 9 1/2” wide x 14 ½” tall. The latch on the door works perfectly and is secure. There are pre-drilled holes on each side panel for mounting brackets for shelves– there are no shelves included with this cabinet. But your local glass provider can easily cut them to size for you– the inside dimensions are 19 ½” tall x 12” wide. There is a cubby hole or open space at the bottom that is 6 ½” tall and 13 ¼” wide. If you need any other size information. Please ask. I have taken photos of all sides of the cabinet to show the paint loss and wear so please check them out. Most of the paint loss is at the bottom and the wood is bare. I love the detail work on the joints that are at the corners on the front of the cabinet– they fit together like a fine puzzle. Lot of 6 Antique Solid Oak Wood Brackets Shelf Brackets Tiger Oak Quartersawn I’m baaaaack! I had the incredible opportunity to chaperone a school related trip to France. Germany and Belgium. It focused on American conflicts in WWI and WWII and it was heaven for a history lover like me. I was able to fit three items in my bag for you– look for them this week. I’m also still listing new items from my Indiana picking trip– lots of barn find and Amish farm finds from the two fellas that I visit every year. Enjoy! I have no idea what these wonderful oak pieces came from- was it furniture. Or parts of shelving- I don't know, but I took one look and I could see them being used as shelf brackets- what's not to love about solid oak with a kittler dark patina? There's 6 in all- as you can see, 4 small ones that match in size and two large ... moreones that match in size. The small ones measure 3 15/16" by 1 15/16" and are 1 1/2" thick. They each have two screw mounting holes- one on the long side and one on the short side. The sides are finished/varnished while the tops and bottoms are not- but they have the same patina color as the rest. You can see tiger graining on some sides. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with rustic wear from age and use- scratches, scrapes, nicks, finish wear and dings. One has a shallow corner chip on the inside- the corner is missing but it's shallow and really hard to tell- it's on the inside part of the curve on the long end. The two lager ones measure 8" by 8 1/2" and are a smidge over 3/4" thick. These ones do not have mounting holes that go all the way through(like the smaller ones) each side has 3 small nail or screw holes(but don't go through) from whatever they were once attached to. You may need to drill holes if you plan to use them as shelf brackets. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. Antique furniture parts curved sofa, chair ottoman legs solid carved hard wood
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!

Large End Table Solid Wood Salvage Center Spindle and Legs possible Craft Use
Let me start by stating that there is nothing particularly special about this piece of table salvage. It is not antique but possibly from the 70s or 80s judging from the top that was removed. It is solid and sturdy but not very heavy. Assembled it is nearly 25" tall the spindle itself is about 22-1/2" The girth is shown in the photos. The three side legs are about 10-1/2" long. There is some wear like scratches and scuffs. Nothing drastic. Of course you could repaint or stain to whatever color you wanted. I am envisioning some kind of antiquing or crafting. Hello. You are viewing my auction for a Vintage Lion Claw Foot Table Base. This is a Solid Wood Table Base With 4 Lion Claw Feet. This base is made of a Heavy Wood. I am unsure of the exact type of wood that this base was made with. This base measures 18 and 1/4" tall by 39" across from leg to leg. The top section measures 10 and 3/4" across with the actual lions claw measuring 5" across. The legs of the table are bolted to the center section as shown in my photographs. There are 4 small holes drilled into the top section where the previous owner has placed a makeshift glass top. There is no top section to this base. There is minimal wear present with some minor splits in the wood present. I have shown photographs of them. There are no further breaks or repairs present. This auction is for an old wooden part from a large floor lamp. There is one chip out of the bottom. But it is in good used condition otherwise with no other damage. It is turned from wood with a hole running through the center and a small peg protruding from the bottom, where it was mounted to a base. The top is flat with a small nail embedded.
