Dresser Wheels Casters Wooden Rollers Wheels Replacement Wood Casters ~Set of 4!
Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. This is a matched set; all are marked Universal#5. They are supposed to have swivel action. But it is catchy on all of them. They will need a little restoration to be fully functional. About 3 1/4" top to bottom. Wheel diameter is about 1 1/4" wide. Not all of the wheels are perfectly round, examples shown in the pictures. I don't think any of them are way off though. Vintage Antique Wooden Furniture Casters - Set of 2-wooden rollers
In great working condition. The shaft is 1 1/2" long and the wooden wheels are 1" in diameter. I don't see any cracks in the wood and axles are straight. They have a nice color to them. They also have the piece that gets hammered into the wood to hold the shaft. Please see photos. 16 Vintage Antique Porcelain Wood Iron Furniture Casters Rollers Wheels +
Up for auction are a lot of 16 mixed sizes and types of old furniture casters/rollers/wheels. 8 white porcelain casters roughly measure 1 1/2" in diameter. 4 are 1/2" thick and 4 are 3/4" thick. The two other large white porcelain casters are a 1/2" thick and just a tiny bit larger in diameter. The little white porcelain caster measures 1 1/8" in diameter and 5/8" thick. There are 4 odd wood casters(one has a flat spot) and one iron/steel one. There is another screw smoothing that was in the bag with the casters and one small metal claw that was stuck on a wheel. Purchased at a recent estate sale in Kentucky. Use the zoom, it will show you everything!
