This is a very nice antique Victorian pedestal style dining table base. It is solid mahogany and has a fluted pedestal. It is stamped with the number 100 on the bottom. It originally had a 50" top, it measures 25" high, it is designed to have castors which would add some height, measuring across the center of any two legs it is 26 1/2" and the top brackets are 14 1/2" wide x 12" deep, the legs are 2 3/4" wide. Some of the hardware on the top is missing as you can see in the pictures. Overall it is in good condition, some scuffs, nicks and dings to the legs which you can see, no splits or cracks to the pedestal or feet and no repairs. VTG Solid Wood Pair Occasional Table Legs Claw Foot Carved Chunky Medieval ATQ
This is a gorgeous pair of table legs. Set of two front legs for an Occasional table. They are solid wood. I’m not positive what the wood is, but it looks like maybe pine, possibly hickory? Not really sure but they are gorgeous! The legs are pretty heavy and sturdy. You can see sand marks from the machine or electric tool that was used and I’m not certain this was sculputed out of one solid slab as I can see lines where they met the pieces after carving them. These are definitely in need of refinishings, one area has a ding but all these look like they should be easy to fix for a wood specialist. I have tried to picture the most obvious and biggest marks. Large End Table Solid Wood Salvage Center Spindle and Legs possible Craft Use
Let me start by stating that there is nothing particularly special about this piece of table salvage. It is not antique but possibly from the 70s or 80s judging from the top that was removed. It is solid and sturdy but not very heavy. Assembled it is nearly 25" tall the spindle itself is about 22-1/2" The girth is shown in the photos. The three side legs are about 10-1/2" long. There is some wear like scratches and scuffs. Nothing drastic. Of course you could repaint or stain to whatever color you wanted. I am envisioning some kind of antiquing or crafting. Diameter at top around 1 3/4" The finish is not perfect, some wear and tear, including a white-ish streak/scuff on one that runs from the top down the leg around 10" The brass caps: one is missing, one has some discoloration and two have some hairline cracks. Mid Century Danish Modern Tapered Table Legs Solid Maple 25" Long Original
These long tapered legs measure 25.25" long and 3" in diameter at the top. They were part of a table I was refinishing. The top couldn't be repaired but the legs are in great shape. I removed the old dirty finish while the legs were still attached to the table top. So you can see that the old finish is still there where the legs had been covered by the table apron. These have a beautiful wood grain and are from a very hard wood, probably maple.

Antique salvage Queen Anne, solid Mahogany carved legs America 1900 - 1950
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!

In very good vintage condition. All end caps intact. Mounting plates have some oxidation but not bad, all unbent and true as the day they were made. Legs unscrew from mounting plates. Antique Solid Maple Furniture Chair Table Ottoman Legs Turned Tapered Wheels
Two legs are turned in three places and two legs have square tops. That there are two different styles suggests to me that these were chair legs but I'm sure they could work on an ottoman or a table too.The legs are 11.5" long(10" wood and 1.5" wheel) with a 2.5" hanger bolt post. They have not been refinishedand ou can see marks in the original honey colored finish. I took several photos of the beautiful tight maple grain. I'm estimated the age and guessing at the style. To me they're simply w onderful pieces that I have had for years and realize that I won't get around to making something with them so I'm passing them on to someone else.
