I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. Antique Bronze Set of 4 Art Nouveau Furniture Feet/Legs
Interesting set of four bronze pieces that would act as the feet for a table(or other piece of furniture) leg. Not sure of a date of origin. But these appear to have some age on them. They're in good shape with minimal signs of wear and a nice patina. The feet measure approximately 4.5" tall, 1.75" deep, and 1.25" wide. The opening where a leg would be inserted is slightly less than an inch in diameter and there is a hole on the back for a screw to hold it in place. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. The measure 6 1/2" across, the bracket sticks out about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" the slot opening is 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. They stand about 8" tall. They seem to be in very good condition, minimal paint loss, don't know if the paint is original or not. The set of four feet weigh almost 22 pounds. This nice set has been painted gold and the paint shows some wear as is appropriate to the age. There is some light corrosion(see images) The blown glass shows scuffing on the bottoms as is normal but the glass otherwise is clear, un-chipped or cracked. They measure 4 inches tall from the bottom of the glass to the top of the leg, and they are 1 inch in diameter at the opening of the leg. Instead of a claw they show what appears to be a feathered serpent with its mouth around the glass ball. If you want to read about the feathered serpent of the Mayans. Which I find fascinating, read the last paragraph of this description. If you don’t like reading about sacrifice. Skip the last paragraph. The glass balls do have dings and scratch marks. But no cracks. One of the balls has a manufacturing defect in that they made 2 flat spots instead of one(for the bottom of the ball) The extra flat spot is smaller than the one at the bottom. The metal appears to be in pretty decent condition with a few rough spots. One of the feet does have a crack in the metal near the ball that is about 5/16” long. Three of them have their pattern still visible the Fourth ones pattern has been worn away over time as seen in the pictures. It can be put up against the wall though and wouldn't be noticeable that it is slightly different. Three have a bird claw holding onto a ball at the bottom of both feet. They have dowel or dowel holes near the bottom and eye hooks where the bottom tier was attached. Overall they are in good condition. Decorative Brass Furniture Feet With Rollers – NEW - set of 4
Set of 4 Beautifully detailed ornate brass. Furniture feet with brass wheels or rollers. The top opening measures approximately 1 ¼”square with a depth of approximately 2” I have had these in storage for a number of years and have never used them. They are in good condition but do show some wear and scratching on the outer sides. They were stored in a plastic bag and were not individually wrapped. I suspect their sides got a little scratched since they were not wrapped. Am selling in a set of four.

But if you look, the longer legs are the same shape and can be cut down to match the shorter ones. As-found from Grandma's attic. Brass feet need to be tightened and polished. This is a set of 4 antique claw feet with glass balls. They are in nice overall condition and just need a little cleaning. Of of them has a few chips but they are in nice solid overall condition. They were protected for years with tape over the glass balls so there is some residue and tape left on them that just needs to be cleaned off. They measure approximately 5" tall by 2" wide. They would make an excellent addition to any piece of furniture. Collection, display, or repurpose project.
