Four Antique Claw and Glass Ball Table Chair Legs Eagle Feet Cast Iron Faces
Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. Lot of 4 Mid Century Modern LAGCO, Couch Legs, Chair Legs, Walnut (?) 5" Tall
I'll be damned if I can recall how or why I have these. I am a MId Century modern lover. And must have seen these at a flea market in my early obsessed days. My guess is that these are walnut. The color and grain look like walnut, and walnut is one of the hardest woods, necessary for a chair or couch. The legs measure 5" tall exactly excluding the threaded screws. The threaded screws measure exactly 1" On the opposite end of the screwside. The tapered legs each have a metal tab on their bottom. The metal tab allows the couch or chair to slide on a hardwood floor, minimizing the scratching that would happen otherwise. Each leg varies in condition but they are mostly the same. Note that in picture#3, the leg shows the manufacturers name LAGCO. The good news is that if you are using these for a restoration. ANTIQUE VINTAGE VICTORIAN 18" RAMS HORN & FOOT WOOD CARVED TABLE/CHAIR LEGS
Two 18" Victorian table legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They are about 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" at their widest on the top and the rail is 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" thick. They are Rams Horn and Foot design. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

Vintage hairpin legs 12" set 4 table chair Eames metal midcentury modern atomic
Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair. These 4 legs were found in an old barn. They have a very unique design and are in good shape for their age. As stated above there is one leg that has a crack in the wood but doesn't go all the way through(I have 2 pics that show where the crack is located) They will be a good item to make something with. The legs are 18" long. Top part of leg is 1 1/2" wide, bottom part of leg is 2" wide the widest part of the leg is 3" wide. 2 Salvaged Hardwood Carved Chair Legs (small)
These two chair legs where salvaged from a beautiful doll chair of unknown origin. I believe it to be hand carved due to the difference in the detail on the two legs. They are covered in stain. The bottoms have the metal gliders as well. They measure 5 5/8" long and are 1 7/8" square at the top by 1 1/4" square at the bottom. The screw on each is just over 1 1/2" long Condition is near perfect with only a few minor pinprick sized stain misses and a sliver of wood loss near the top of one and an extremely faint scratch on another. Up for auction is this pair of legs that were removed from a vintage overstuffed chair. The rest of it was far beyond saving. But these two legs had such a classic look I thought I would pass them along. I think they are a composite formed, but they are so old, I'm not sure what was in use at the time. Antique furniture parts curved sofa, chair ottoman legs solid carved hard wood
These legs came off an antique camel back brocade sofa from the 1930's(or earlier) that I purchased at estate auction yrs ago. It was a very well constructed piece of furniture with hand tied springs. A heavy hard wood frame, and horse hair for the first layer of padding. When I retired it for good. I salvaged these front legs. The back"legs" were actually part of the frame itself, or else I would have saved them as well. They have the original finish on them except for where I used a little denatured alcohol to help identify the wood. I am not positive. But my best guess is that they are mahogany or maybe cherry. They are NOT identical! That was never noticeable when they were on my couch- only when I put them side by side to measure. Upon doing my research. I found out that this style of carving is very complex and can only ... morebe done with one solid piece of wood so it's actually not unusual for them not to be exact duplicates. Original four factory wood screws included- they are flat(square) head- another clue that they are old. Cross head screws weren't used until the later 1930's and after. Measurements: Right leg: 3.5" all 4 sides at the top where it fastens. 6" high. 2.25" across; 2" front to back at the bottom where it rests on the floor(foot pad) Left leg: 3 sides at 3.5" and the back side is 3" across at the top. 6" high. 2 1/16" across; 2" front to back at the bottom(foot pad) You can't go to Lowes and buy these!
