Set of Four Haworth Industrial Metal Table Legs w/Heavy Duty Casters (1 of 2)
For auction is one set of heavy duty industrial table legs manufactured by Haworth. They are powder-coated in a dark gray metallic hammered finish. And are in near perfect, almost-new condition. The legs are fitted with high-quality Colson 3" red casters, two of which lock, and they all roll smoothly and show little wear. Each leg is attached to a 6" plate with eight holes, and has 6 large Philips-head screws painted to match. These can be mounted under virtually any table surface; all you need is the right top! The legs are 28" long from top to bottom. So would work for any table of a standard height. SHIPPING: These legs will ship via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery unless otherwise requested. A set of four iron and porcelain wheel case furniture casters. The wheels are 1 1/2" diameter and 7/8" wide. The iron shafts of the casters are 3" long and 1/2" diameter at the fattest point. Lots of large case pieces(dressers. Armoires, beds, buffets) had metal hollows in the bottom of their legs and feet made for casters such as these. All wheels spin freely. They have"tread wear" on the outside edges and rust stains around the hub. One wheel has some chipping around that center spoke too but is still perfectly useable. Vintage Shepherd Profile 2 1/2" Chrome Ball Casters
Unusual casters. I called Shepherd Casters and asked for some information on these casters. I was told they are no longer manufactured and are called soft tread ball casters. They are round but not shaped like a ball. They are more like a fat pancake. It was hard to get good pictures as they are very shiny. Our ceiling fan is reflected in the photos. The casters and inserts are in very good condition. Please look at the photos as the casters and inserts in the photos will be the ones sent to the winning bidder. If you have any questions.
