Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. I am selling a matched set of 4 great antique 1880's Cast Iron& Wooden Swivel Caster Wheels. ~~NO RESERVES!~~ Measure approx. 2 3/4 in. in diameter X 6 1/4 in. tall(overall height of casters) Wood wheels measure approx. 2 in. wide. Wheels turn freely. No flat spots on wheels. 1 wheel has a large amount of wear to center hole. It may affect it functioning properly w/ the other casters. Have surface rust. Need cleaning. Antique Lot Of 53 Cast Iron-Brass-Wood-3 Porcelain Furniture Wheels Lots Of Sizes/Versions/Styles. Their are 18 Cast iron 2 wood and 10 brass all are dirty have wear& some with surface rust. They all appear solid. None appear to be heavily rotted iron, a few have heavier pitting though. Their are a few matched 2 piece sets, I think 2 with 3 matched pieces, no 4 matched sets though sadly. Some metal parts maybe damaged. 23 more added to the original lot of 30 seen in last 6 pics same condition issues as above. 2 are apart and 3 brass wheels look like the insert piece was sawed off. 8 more wood wheels the 3 porcelain 3 odd newer plastic/rubber versions and 8 brass.1 odd steel wheel apart.
