They are solid wood and will need to be refinished. One has a slight crack in it The other pieces measures approximately 5.5" in length x 3.5" wide. These are solid wood too but layered together and a couple are separating and will need a little glue. Large. Salvaged, architectural pediment. Beautiful, Victorian antique in overall wonderful condition! Walnut construction with raised, bevelled, burled panel in the middle. Highlights include.sawtooth trim far left and right, quarter fan carvings, segmented vertical trim, cornice molding above, and repeating geometric design across top with cannonball finials. Hanging wire attached in back with felt pads to protect wall. Can also freely stand upright, on its own. It currently measures 49 3/4 inches long, but will cut down in size at winners request for free. It is 9 1/4 inches tall to cannonball. Many other original 1800s architectural pieces listed. This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! They are about 30 pounds before packing! There are a few missing edges. Also include are the pieces that you screw to the bottom of your tab le. T hat slide into the grove on the back of these to hold the apron on your table. I think these are oak. But I am not a wood expert. So not sure. Large Eastlake *Spoon Carved* Furniture Panel/Pediment-Rare ONE OF A KIND!!!
You are invited to bid on an ornate- ONE OF A KIND- carved panel(walnut or mahogany not sure) It measures approx 53 in. long. 10 1/2 wide and 1/2-5/8 in. thick. The center is highly carved(spoon carving) with detailed flowers and leaves across the entire panel. The carved portion measures approx 49 by 7in. This is a heavy piece, weighs almost 10 lbs. before packing. The panel edges are beveled to slip on adjoining panel(tounge& grove) and the beveled tounge has splits that can be glued or removed based on your intended usage. The outer edge also has several splits that do not effect the structure of the panel that can be glued for an invisable repair. This finely carved panel exemplifies the craftsmanship of days gone by. It has a rich patina with deeply carved leaf design& nicely beveled edges Approx measurements are 5 in. wide. 48 in. long and 2 in. thick at the widest point. The carving is clean and deep with the wide edge being skillfully tooled. This peice graced my fireplace under the mantle for 30+ years adding charm and grace to the room. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. Up for bid is several pieces of an antique solid walnut furniture pediment or gallery from a Victorian or Eastlake era piece of furniture. The pieces are primitively hand carved as well as hand made. And although there are a few missing pieces, there do seem to be enough to create a nice gallery around the top of a bureau, buffet, dresser, and/or etc. The pieces are approximately 1/2" in thickness by an overall length for the longest center piece of about 21" On some pieces there is carving on both sides. My guess is the carver was practicing or was doing"do overs" in order to get the best look that they wanted to achieve before finishing the piece. The top center carving piece does have a chip or missing piece of wood, though it does not take away from the overall glamour of the pieces. Antique Eastlake Victorian SOLID WALNUT Carved& Inlaid FURNITURE FRONT PART The overall length is 24" and the width is 2" The thickness is 3/4" measurement is 13 3/4" and the tapered tips that extend into the chair slots are just a bit more that 1/2" long. This is a typical American Eastlake Victorian furniture part. The long grooves are typical as are the style of the carvings that either represent flowers or cherries. Also the strip of fancy burl grain which is overlaid in the 1" x 8" center rectangle is typical of Eastlake Victorian style. I do not know what piece of furniture this item was attached to. There is a wooden(walnut wood also) mounting bracket on the back and deep-set dadoes on each end that were used for mounting. Condition: This piece is in relatively good condition for its age. The ... moreonly wear and tear seems to be on the overlaid burl strip that is worn off along the topp edge and the left end. It is not warped. Four 9" Carved Wood Legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They look like Maple and are in very good condition. The tops are 2 1/2" by 2" The bottoms are 1 1/4" I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

It measures 11 1/4" tall at the brass ring. it is 9" tall by itself by 10" wide by 2 1/4" thick and is solid walnut. It needs to be oiled with some dark furniture oil like Howards etc. It is in good condition ready to display as is. this item is vintage but that is all I can tell you. EASTLAKE Oak Carved STANDING Furniture Pediment Victorian Walnut Fretwork Panel
3 curved. Victorian, architectural pieces. Classic Eastlake carved chair crest with loads of ornate spindles. Oak piece has grooved framing with a round, center, flower medallion. The darker one of those may be walnut. All are original Victorian antique and not reproductions. All 3 are completely free standing. Large one measures 16 1/2 inches by 15 1/8 inches. Smaller ones measure 12 1/2 by 10 3/4 inches. Winner gets all 3 pieces for one bid. Smaller walnut one has a repair on the right side, otherwise great condition.
