this is an extremely rare 18th century large hand carved wooden stylized horse corbels. it is pretty large and cut from a piece of solid very heavy piece of oak.i believe" which has wonderful grain, and a great patina from age. it is beautifully cut into the shape of a stylized horse with lots of deeply cut detailing. And a nice flowing shape. its extremely ornate with exquisite age. it is cut flat at the back to fit a wall. Architectural Salvage Carved Mahogany Panel - 1800s (1 of 2)
Years ago. I purchased these two carved mahogany panels for a project in the house. My original intent was to cut down the panels and inset them into the wall and then frame around them. But my wife and I area in the process of downsizing and starting to sell off our artwork including these two mahogany panels. The panels are in excellent condition. At one time this panels were attached to a large piece of furniture. They were meticulously carved. These are very strong mahogany panels and are either from French or English origins from the mid to late 1800s. There are two panels and priced per panel. They measure 21 X 24 inches for the outer dimensions. The carved interior panel measures 12 1/2 X 16 1/2. The starting price is price per panel. There are two panels.

This unusual piece served some decorative purpose in its past life. I love the concept that such a detailed animated carving can be re-purposed in a new setting. It is 19" x 9" x 1" Many items I am selling came from a furniture and designcompany that went out of business in 1997. These nicely carved polychrome fragments of solid tulip poplar were salvaged from some very impressive and decorative early 1900s construction. They have no certain provenance. But look like circus wagon fragments to me. Each measures an impressive 24” long with one being 6 ½” wide and the other 5” each is 1 1/8” thick. These were a part of a table base in their previous lives The table that they were from was ruined. But the base was in great shape and I thought that the carved wood portions held plenty of potential for a decorator or someone who enjoys creating new items These are very heavy and bulky carved mahogany bases They were painted a wretched brownish gold color. I think they could be sanded down and stained or painted any other color and they would really pop. Antique carved Oak Pediment Header Back Splash Crown Architectural Salvage
This piece came off a dresser or cabinet. I can't remember which. There is a groove across the back where something fit onto it and there are screw holes as well. It was refinished at some point with what looks like an oil based clear finish under which I see what looks like swirl marks from an orbital sander. They're not deep. So the whole front could be sanded and re-finished which is what I would do if I had a good place for this in my house. It measures: 19.5" long x 2.25" tall(in the center) 3.5" on the ends x 7/8" thick(not counting the medallions) It's 1" thick with the medallions. Up for auction are these fantastic old piano legs. They were off of about 1900 upright. Legs measures approximately181/2"a half inches tall by 11 1/2 inches long x41/2"its widest point at the ball. 1880s 43" Architectural Salvage Carved Oak Wood Pediment Molding from Pump Organ Description Up for sale is this estate rescued carved oak piece from an antique Beckwith Pump Organ! This very long piece measures 43 1/2" long x 5" It was the front piece of the organ just above the keyboard cover. It has a lock that we have left in which takes a triangular shaped key. The key was never recovered. As you can see from the close-ups the cuts go all of the way through the wood and appear to be hand carved as seen in their inconsistencies. Very cool! Each of the carved areas measure 10" x 3 1/4" This piece has 3 pins in the top that were used to hold it in place. There are also 2 pieces glued onto the ends of the back which had pins that slid into the sides of the organ. There are felt pieces on either end that prevented ... morethe piece from rattling when it was installed and the organ was being played! The carved openings are backed with a red cloth that looks to be original. You can see from the photos that the cloth has some rips in it. We found that it is quite fragile as we caused one of those rips when we were cleaning this great old piece. Oops. This piece consists of 4 pieces of wood. The long front piece with the carvings. A piece attached to the bottom which measures about 1 3/8" allowing this piece to stand on its own and the 2 pieces on the back which the attaching pins. The back piece is 1/4" thick and the base piece is 1/2" thick. The manufacture date on the organ had faded but the latest patent dates listed on the label were from the 1880s. They are all in very nice condition with almost no bumps or scraps. A few of the pieces have a dot of white or yellow paint on the front. All have a large splotch of yellow paint on the very back. For auction I have an Ornate Deeply Carved Wood Furniture Part Architectural Salvage Sconce? I originally thought I had 2 of these. But didn't find this one until Saturday, So I have to list them seperate. This one is exactly like the other one I have up for sale earlier. It is unclear what this piece was used for or on. I think it is made of solid Oak, but I won't swear what type of wood it really is. It measures 8 1/2" long at the longest part x 7 1/4" high x approx 4" wide. This is solid wood and heavy 3 lbs-6 oz. This is an interesting piece in good condiiton with no broken missing pieces, but a couple of age cracks. For auction I have a very old 11 1/2" across Ornate Deeply Carved Wood Furniture Part Architectural Salvage Wall Decoration. I have no idea what this originally was used for(now it was used as a wall decoration) But there are a few issues with this piece. The center part of this piece is missing and both sides have been broken off and are missing(see photos) It was origianlly 11 1/2" round x 4 3/4" high. Now about 1 1/2" is missing on each side. Whatever this came off of must have been really massive and heavy. I think it is made out of walnut wood. It is heavy, weighing 3 pounds 12 oz. Antique Carved Wood Oriental Architectural Remnant Salvaged Piece Chair Splat?
Up for auction is an antique wood carved furniture remnant recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It features two figures surround by stylized flowers, in a relief carving and is found in good used condition. It is antique,but uncertain to the age. The edges of this piece has flanges, much like a chair splat. Primary colors are golf on a red background. The back shows old age,with why appears to be burned marks throughout the back, best seen in photo#5. Overall size is approximately 73/4" in diameter, 10 3/4" from one end of the flange to the other. It is approximately 1/2" thick. The wood is a soft wood. This remnant is not signed. A nice architectural remnant of display or repurposing. Can he hung as art.
