4 + 2 Antique Industrial Brass Cup Swivel Casters Furniture Wheels
Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. The smaller ones have wheels that are just over 1 1/8" wide and 7/16" thick- the cups are just over 1 1/4" wide to the outside edges(inside is about 1 1/8" and it tapers down) the cups are just over 1 1/8" tall, and the entire piece is about 2 7/16" tall.

Vintage Set of 4 Brass Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage brass wheel casters with brass yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 9/32 inch inside diameter 1.5 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. These casters worked great on our rugs but when we removed the rugs and refinished the floors. They were too hard and scratched the finish so we replaced them with a set of soft rubber casters. All are in good working condition and are solid, weighing 6 oz. each. The one caster stem is missing a side piece that locks under the lip but the remaining side piece will hold the caster in place. I would eventually replace it though. All show signs of cosmetic wear and will look nice once cleaned and polished. Four Vintage Antique Wooden Wheel Casters with Brass. Wheels measure 1 1/8" inch. Stem measures 1 1/4" Stamped on back Patented May 20.73. One of the wooden wheels has a flat spot, a little out of round. Looks like it would raise your furniture about 1 1/2" total. All wheels in good working order except for the flat one. Welcome Up for Auction Set of 4 Antique Original Brass Casters and Square Socket End Covers. Furniture. Table, Desk Original Hardware. In Good Used Condition. Recently Purchased at a Estate Sale in Southern Indiana. Very Well Kept! Each Caster Measures approximately 2 3/8" Overall Length including Square Socket End. The Metal Dowel on each Caster is 1/4"Round in Diameter x 1" Long. The Wheel on each Caster is approx. 1 1/8" round in diameter x 5/8" thick. The Opening on each Square Socket Cover is Approx. 7/8" at the Top and Narrows/Tapers to 5/8" and 1" Long. Each Socket Cover has a 1/8" Hole for Securing and includes 3 of the 4 original brass slotted screws. 1 screw was not with the set when I purchased. I did find a small slotted screw for the missing one that may work if interested I will send ... morealong. Normal wear. Scratches, scuffing, staining, dirt, grime, tarnishing may be noted on each caster and cover from years of service, storage, use. This is a lot of 8 matching old brass furniture casters. Good condition. There is some splattering a of white paint here and there and on one. The wheel rolls but seems to be stuck so that the wheel won't rotate. Maybe I'm just not strong enough and I really haven't tried anything to"unstick it" Box will be heavy so I'm thinking flat rate priority will be the least expensive.

Set of Four Brass Cup Furniture Casters Square Socket
Here's a vintage set of four brass furnitue casters to refinish that special project. These swivel casters measure approx. 2" tall and comes with a small hole on the side to pin it so it stays in place. Wheels are made of brass too and they measure 5/8. The interior cup size is 1. No markings that I can see. Condition: Offered in"as found" condition. Not Cleaned. All four casters swivel as they should BUT one caster(see picture#4) has a slightly bent rod. Wheel still swivels and rolls as it should.
