This antique heavy cast iron& bronze or copper? plated chandelier/hanging electric lamp has a wonderful Art Deco design and weighs nearly 7 pounds. It measures approx. 16" high. Section in scan#2 itself measures 13 1/4" long x 6" across widest point. Round section seen in scans# 4& 9 measures 7 1/2" in diameter.Each decorative plate attached to the round section seen in scans# 3. 10,11, 12 each measure approx. 3 1/2" across from widest point to 3 1/2" long.Copper/copper-coated link chain measures 35 inches long.It has one decorative plate which has some rusting due to storage( it was the one piece that was touching a barn's floor) and it needs to be rewired as the fabric covered wire has no plug at its end. A few minor scratches on bronze plated top, along with a missing finial. All have some surface rust(metal integrity not compromised) on them(that can probably be cleaned off totally) and all have some leftover paint on them, but ALL hinges are operational and have full metal integrity. The screw bases of the hinges have the matching ribbed lines of the pulls, but the ribs are not colored in at all Half Circle pulls- 4 pulls. The cover shows the date of 1929-1930. Every page has images of furniture and household items. Mostly wooden furniture. But also appliances, sewing machines, fans, flooring, rugs, mattresses, pillows, etc. This book is really a great resource for a study of the styles of the era, it has images of almost everything in the house!
