Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. We have up for auction today a set of 4 M atching L arge Cast Iron Eagle Claw and Ball Bathtub Feet! They are in good condition, but not perfect. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. They are heavy and solid. They measure 4in from front to back on top and is 5in wide at the largest part. They did come out of an old stone blocked house. Don't miss out on this great find! This auction is for an Antique Set of 6 Cast Iron Bathtub Ball and Claw Feet. Two are marked with the number 29 and two are marked L. The measure 6 1/2" across, the bracket sticks out about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" the slot opening is 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. They stand about 8" tall. They seem to be in very good condition, minimal paint loss, don't know if the paint is original or not. The set of four feet weigh almost 22 pounds. Set of 4 Antique Cast Iron and Blown Glass Claw Feet, Very Clean Salvage Stock
This listing is for a set of four cast iron and blown glass claw feet. These antique/vintage feet are most likely from the turn of the century. Late 1800's to early 1900's. This nice set has been painted gold and the paint shows some wear as is appropriate to the age. There is some light corrosion(see images) The blown glass shows scuffing on the bottoms as is normal but the glass otherwise is clear, un-chipped or cracked. They measure 4 inches tall from the bottom of the glass to the top of the leg, and they are 1 inch in diameter at the opening of the leg. Hard to find Set of four old antique bath tub feet with original hardware included(nuts and bolts) can be seen in photos, some of the tubs had slightly shorter feet in front these are from that type tubt two are painted silver because they were being used under the vanity in the bathroom that is the reason for installing the wood tops on them but they be easily taken out. Set of 4 Antique Vintage Cast Iron& White Porcelain Furniture Casters 1-3/4" Overall length is 5" Wheels measure 1-3/4" diameter and 1/2" wide, spindle measures 3" The porcelain has some stains and the shiny finish is worn where it contacts the floor, a few old hairlines that do not seem in danger of breaking, some rust. Several have a small old chip at the hole where it attaches to the spindle. I don't know if that is really a chip or just how it was made. I have taken close up photos of both sides so please judge condition for yourself as I am no expert on these. All turn freely. Set of 2 Antique Vintage Cast Iron& White Porcelain Furniture Casters 1-3/4" Overall length is 5-1/2" Wheels measure 1-3/4" diameter and 1" wide, spindle measures 3" The porcelain has some stains and the shiny finish is worn where it contacts the floor, no hairlines, some rust. One has a small old chip at the hole where it attaches to the spindle. I don't know if that is really a chip or just how it was made. I have taken close up photos of both sides so please judge condition for yourself as I am no expert on these. Both turn freely. Set of 4 Antique Art Nouveau cast iron coat hooks Dated 1905 hall tree hat
This is a matched set of 4 antique cast iron coat hooks from the early 1900s. They are in good original condition and have a copper finish. There is some variation in patina. The back of each hook is marked"Pat. Apr 4. 1905" and also"47" Each hook is about 7- 1/4" wide. 5- 1/8" high and stands out about 3- 1/4" from the mounting surface. The rods are 1/4" in diameter and have 20 threads per inch(a common, standard size) The hooks can be mounted on a board that is 3/4" thick. If you want to mount them on a thicker board, you can replace the threaded rods with longer rods, OR countersink the nuts. This is a nice set with good casting detail and a mellow finish. Set of 4 Antique Cast Iron 4.25" Industrial Factory Cart Wheels steampunk old
This is nice set of early cast iron factory cart wheels. The wheels measure 4.25” in diameter and 1" thick with a center arbor of 3/16" In good shape for as old as they are.Very little original paint. Nice rusty look. Thanks for looking.
