Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. 4 Antique Vintage Metal Tin & Brass Furniture Remnants Hardware Drawer Pulls
Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. Up for sale are eight matching metal vintage hardware furniture remnants recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice reticulated form. It has a pewter colored finish. They appear to be remnants from furniture hardware, as there is a hole in the center where the pull might be. This hole has an approximate diameter of 1'8" in size. It is in a round snowflake form. These pieces are made of metal, but it does not attract a magnet. They each measures approximately 2 7/8" in diameter. The back is marked, Japan" with the number"981" A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed to accent any steampunk style project. Overall these furniture handles are in very good condition. There are 2 with minor flaws. One has a tiny chip on the underside edge and the other has a corner chip on the underside end, when installed with the flaws down. The bakelite pieces measure 4" by 3/4" by 3/8" and the screws are approx. 1 1/4" long and 3" apart. Total weight is 10. oz. Antique pair of bronze lion paw feet for antique furniture hardware 19th
This is a pair of early bronze paw feet that would have been attached to a piece of furniture. These are approximately 4 inches tall from the bottom of the feet to the top. They are 2 5/8 inches across and 2 ½ inches deep. There are three holes on the top. They have been attached by rivets and a portion of the top piece is still present. The rivets are hand hammered. They have a nice dark brown patina. Based on the rivet attachments. We believe these date to the 19 th century. There is no damage. They have a nice scrolled detailing done in high relief. The seventh or last piece has some minor rust that can easily be cleaned off. They are done in an elongated octagon design or format and measure 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches. Here is a group or lot of 5 pieces which I think are cast iron or metal of some kind covered with either porcelain or some kind of ceramic. I believe these to be antique and actually I think they came out of a local bank. Furniture or pieces which has oak legs and then these would kind of protect the bottom of the legs in some way. These have rust, bare spots, dusty, and could be cleaned up a bit better. There are two which are 3 1/4 X 1 3/4 X 3 inches high. Bit of a chip around the top of one but plenty of wear on both. Then there are 3 that are more of square than rectangle. These are about 1 7/8 X 1 7/8 X 3 inches high. These have some bare spots and scratches and one of them looks like there was grinder or wire brush used on one side to get screw off must have had trouble getting it to let go.
