Antique Cast Iron Claw Ball Feet Bath Tub Foot Bathtub Vintage Set of 4 Must See
I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. Four Antique Claw and Glass Ball Table Chair Legs Eagle Feet Cast Iron Faces
Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. Hi. You are bidding on these antique/vintage four glassball and cast iron foot leg tips with a face J.I hope I took enough pictures so you can see the condition. All four of thebottoms do show that they have been previously used and are scuffed up. ONLYONE is in nice used condition with only a few minor chips in the glass ball.The other three do have worse flaws. One has a small dent in the glass ball. Itlooks to me it was made this way I don’t see how it could be damaged this way…Another one that I did take a few pictures of has a small hole in the glassball. And the last one in the front by the face looks like when it was made theglass ball was not completely round when it was place in the claw because thereis a small gap(see this flaw in the 2nd to last picture) As you can see the claws do have a face of some sort, I call ita lion. This auction is for an Antique Set of 6 Cast Iron Bathtub Ball and Claw Feet. Two are marked with the number 29 and two are marked L. The measure 6 1/2" across, the bracket sticks out about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" the slot opening is 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. They stand about 8" tall. They seem to be in very good condition, minimal paint loss, don't know if the paint is original or not. The set of four feet weigh almost 22 pounds. This listing is for a set of four cast iron and blown glass claw feet. These antique/vintage feet are most likely from the turn of the century. Late 1800's to early 1900's. This nice set has been painted gold and the paint shows some wear as is appropriate to the age. There is some light corrosion(see images) The blown glass shows scuffing on the bottoms as is normal but the glass otherwise is clear, un-chipped or cracked. They measure 4 inches tall from the bottom of the glass to the top of the leg, and they are 1 inch in diameter at the opening of the leg. Hard to find Set of four old antique bath tub feet with original hardware included(nuts and bolts) can be seen in photos, some of the tubs had slightly shorter feet in front these are from that type tubt two are painted silver because they were being used under the vanity in the bathroom that is the reason for installing the wood tops on them but they be easily taken out. This is 4 matching cast iron ball and claw feet that have been painted a soft gloss white. They measure about 7.5" tall and about 5.5" wide. They are probably off a tub. But could be from a stove, I am not sure. They would look great on a piece of furniture! One of these has a chip off one side, but certainly could be used on the back side so it wouldn't show. Claw Foot Up next. Here is a nice antique cast iron claw foot with glass ball. This is large measuring about 6" in total height. The glass ball is about 3" in diameter and is turning purple as you can see. There are visible bubbles inside the glass. There are some straw marks and a visible mold seam. But no chips or other damage. There is a small spot which was polished flat on the glass ball. The foot will stand at a slight angle while resting on this polished area as it was originally attached to a leg that was slightly splayed by design. Questions gladly answered! Set of 4 ORIGINAL Cast Iron and Glass Ball& Claw Feet in AWESOME condition. Just the slightest amount of wear on the bottom of the glass balls where they were sllid along a floor for 100 years or so. The wear spots are IMPOSSIBLE to see when they are standing as they should on a table or other piece of furniture. Pix do not do them justice as it is nearly impossible to capture the bubbles. Streaks& swirls within the glass. One ball has a green streak inside that is incredible to look at. Iron"claw" feet are Eagle's Talons and appear to have once been gilded but they now have a nice mellow raw cast iron patina. Each weighs almost 2-1/2 pounds! These are NOT REPRODUCTIONS and are getting increasingly harder to find especially in this condition. Glass ball is approx 3" diameter(about the size of a baseball) individual ... morefingers are approx 3" long and the mount is 2-1/2" long with a 1-3/8" opening that tapers to approx 3/4" at the bottom. Set of 3 original antique/vintage cast iron eagle claw feet with glass ball base. They have their original patina. The glass balls and gold gilt iron feet are in good condition and need cleaning. They measure 4" from top to bottom.

This listing is for a set of 3 metal and glass claw feet. The metal is very heavy. Feels like cast iron. The glass is clear with just a slight hint of green to it, barely noticeable. There is some chipping in the glass orbs. These feet can be for a stool, table, chair, etc. They measure just over 5" long and the holes measure about 1 1/4" across.
