This is the apron f rom an antique table that was about 68"X48" It was an oval table. So some of these are more curved since they were on the ends and the straighter ones were the sides. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! SPINDLE ASSORTED WOOD LEGS, 23-28 inches long, three finishes, LOT of 8, VINTAGE
LOT of 8 vintage spindles. Lengths from 23 inches to 28 inches long. Three are from probably 1900 tables& weathered. Three are unused vintage made and unfinished and appear to never have been installed, and two are stained brown tone, probably about 1940, and these appear to have been used on a table possibly, but in very good condition. Majority of the spindles were probably hand made with machine use only for shaping, if that. Three vintage weathered 1900 legs are 28 inches each in lenght and the bases run 2 1/4 inch to 2 3/4 inch across. Three unfinished unused vintage spindles are 23 inches long with 2 1/4 inch bases each. Two brown tone spindles are 25 inches long each and have 2 3/8 inch bases. The weathered 1900 legs have some wear at the tops- please review photos. The two brown tone spindles have dowel holes on one or two sides ... moreof each- again review the photos. 8 Old Vintage Rustic Turned Wood Furniture Pieces Posts Legs Wood Screws I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! Here's a lot of 8 old turned wood furniture pieces- each one measures 15 1/16" long(not including the screws) Is 1 3/4" diameter on either end, and the ones that have a hole(not the a screw) have a hole that is 5/8" diameter. The threaded wood screws measure 1 1/4" long and about 1/2" diameter- they do fit well/screw into all of the open ends. There's 4 piece that have just a hole on either end(both ends- I have not pieces with a closed end) ... moreand 4 pieces that have a screw on one end and an open hole on the other. I do not know what type of wood this is, but as you can see from my photos, the finish is veryveryvery worn. You can also see what looks like finish drips on some of the pieces- see photos 13& 14. I'm showing in photo 15 that one has what looks to be a 2" paint oops on the side. Now, I have no idea if they were legs, or some type of post like on a bed( but as you can see from my 18th photo, I was able to screw all of them together to make one long piece(not sure that's what you are supposed to do- I was just curious) They are yours to do what you want with- aside from the finish issues, they are really in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's minor wood dings, scratches, nicks and scrapes- but no major structural issues that I can find. Enjoy! Please ask if you have any questions. Vintage Wood Furniture Casters - 1 and 1/8 diameter
These are the original wood casters from a Danner revolving bookcase. They are still in good condition. But they don't roll so good with a heavy bookcase on top of them so I replaced them. Actually, they roll ok but don't have ball bearings so they don't swivel that great. That's just the way they're built. There are no cracks in the wood, and the metal is sound. They all have a great vintage patina. Spindle is about 1.25" tall, 1/4" diameter. Items sold as-is so please feel free to ask any and all questions. Up for your consideration we have an 8 piece lot of mid century style wooden furniture legs. These legs have a screw in the top and are about 3.5" tall and 2 1/4" diameter at the top. The piece that sits on the floor is about 1 1/4" diameter. They have some markings on them here and there and the metal bands are a bit discolored in places. They have some surface scratching from normal use and are a bit dusty and could use a good cleaning. We have recently purchase d a major estate of a serious collector of all things unique. Set of 4 Vintage Mid-Century Table/ Chair/ Sofa Legs– Black w/ Brass Tips– 8” Up for bid is this set of vintage legs/ feet for a vintage furniture restoration project! The legs measure 8” tall. They measure 2” in diameter at the top and about 1” at the bottom. The tips are a gold-colored metal. Which I think might be brass, and they havea stopper on the bottom. The top portion appears to be a wood of some kind and is painted black. There are screw portions at the top to fasten them to the furniture in question! This is a neat vintage set. But it does show some wear. For example, the metal does show a fair amount of scuffing. Also, the black portions of the legs show scuffing, some nicking/ light denting, as well as a few spots here and there of splattered paint. One last thing to note is that the brass portions can be“turned. However, the ... morelegs are in solid shape and could be restored nicely! From a local estate. Here is a set of four drawer pulls from an antique dresser or cabinet of some kind. Carved dark wood, probably walnut, each about 8" across, a fruit and nut design motif. Screw holes on the back are about 2.5" centers, three of the pulls are identical, and one is a mirror. This is for one Mahogany Caned Panel. 10 5/8" by 8 1/8" It has a finish as you can see in the photos and the caning is in very good condition. I don't know what it was from or what you could use it for. Use your imagination. It is in excellent condition except for a little dust. I got it from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.
