4 Antique Vintage Metal Tin & Brass Furniture Remnants Hardware Drawer Pulls
Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. They measure over 1 1/2 inches high(total) and the wheels diameter is about 3/4 of an inch. They need cleaning. The 2 porcelain wheeled casters measure about 2 1/4 inches high(total) The wheels measure about 1 inch in diameter. Included with these are the furniture metal inserts. This is a set of 4 original. Antique drawer pulls in excellent condition. They were salvaged off and old wooden shop bench or work bench, and has numerous layers of paint on them. They were professionally and carefully cleaned and stripped down to the bare metal, and are ready to paint or use as is. I'm not sure of the metal and not sure if they are prone to rusting. There is no rust, and as I said, they are super clean. They also have all the original slotted mounting screws, and are marked on back Pat Oct 1, 1872. They are 2 3/4in. across measured from the centers of the holes, and 4in. across total. GREAT items to add to your collection or restoration project. Up for auction is this set of 4 Antique Oak Legs with Glass Ball Metal Claw Feet. The oak wood is in its original finish and the claws are their original Gold color. Three of the glass balls are in very nice condition as the pictures show with no chips or cracks. Only the wear at the bottom and one of them has a little chiping. These feet came off a broken table that was said to be a family heirloom. Over 100 years old. I've no idea though if that's true or even how old they are but for sure they are indeed antique. I'm not sure what kind of metal the talons are made from but the balls are glass with minimal chips.
