Solid Cherry Desk Vanity w/ Inlay, Orig. Mirror & Brass Pulls, Glass Top
Vanity was purchased in North Carolina. It is an strong/solid furniture that has been well taken care of by one owner. It has a thick cut(deep south glass) to cover the top. The previous owner had photos of her family and places they had gone under the glass top. It was quite moving showing what seemed to be most important in her family's life span. There is a slight dark spot on top left side of vanity that seems to been from something hot being laid on the top but is not real noticeable. It is where one would probably have items for their dressing table covering the area with decorative powder dish or jewelry box. I could easily see this vanity being handed down through many generations of a family.

Solid Maple and Walnut Burl Antique Dresser, Vintage Replaced Brass Pulls - NICE
Being offered from the longtime owner's heir is this excellent quality American made antique dresser in solid maple with a walnut top and burl trim. Only the brass pulls appear to be replacements. We do not see any veneer being used. Surfaces and edges show wear from normal use but no obvious signs of abuse. Drawers still pull out straight. And feels solid not wobbly. Measures 43" high x 39-1/2" wide x 24-1/2" deep. See photos zoomed for details and verify. The main body of the dresser and drawers appear solid maple. The top is walnut with a beautiful burl trim on front edge. A very masculine style that never gets old. For local pickup in Gainesville. Antique Child's Size MINI BRASS VANITY with OVAL MIRROR and DRAWER Uniquely Custom Made by: Great-Grandpa{heavy duty} WHAT A RARE BEAUTY Excellent Antique Condition{ Except one round nut is missing to left side of mirror and there are worn off lacquer spots on the table top. Which can be stripped off and re-sprayed. Could use some polishing too} It has an attached oval tilting mirror framed in brass with a wood back and a pull out metal& brass drawer. Brass sides have knobby hammered design. Over all measurements are approx: 7-1/2" tall to top of table Table top is 9" x 6" Drawer is 6-1/2" wide x 1-1/4" deep Mirror stands 8" high( Oval measures 5-1/2" x 4-1/2" What an attic find. It is one of a kind. Grandpa was a metal machinist for 40 years. That is why he was so good at making something like ... morethis. It's unbelievable. Actually Great-Grandma kept it on top of her dresser with some of her jewelry in it. I also found a brass small hand mirror. Double sided 2-3/4" diameter. I will throw it in with the vanity.
