It measures 24 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 2" including the knob) As you can see from the photos this cabinet is carved by hand. The carving is rough and irregular but still beautiful in its intricacy! The pattern looks like it depicts a thistle plant inside of an arched design. You can also see that there are a couple of pieces missing from the design including one of the oval shaped designs in the top left and possibly two rectangle shaped pieces at the top of the columns below the arch. The knob also looks to have been hand carved. This door still has the original hinges which are rusted in place. The back of the door looks as though it had 2 cross ... morepieces which have been removed. The door does have some cracks developing in the bottom as you can see in the photos. They are mortise and tenon. One piece has a n edge that is broken off near the end on the back. Please look over pictures) These are almost 6" wide at the widest and each piece is about 23"2 3.5" lo ng. these are r eally HEAVY! They will cost at lea st $35. to ship. Maybe more! They are about 30 pounds before packing! There are a few missing edges. Also include are the pieces that you screw to the bottom of your tab le. Four 29" Victorian table legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They are about 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" on the top and 2" by 2" on the bottom. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

Antique ORNATE Carved BURLED Wood VICTORIAN PEDIMENT Secretary Door Hall Tree
Up for auction is this fabulous antique Victorian carved wood arched pediment being offered"as is as found" It is in wonderful condition, though some of the burled veneer is lifting and there is one spot on the top edge of the moulding where it meets the center piece that is chipped(as seen in photo 7) It is very ornately carved with exquisite details. The 2 drop turned finials on either side of the center medallion are intact. Not sure of the wood, it is thick and solid somewhat speckled with darker spots. Exhibits superb craftsmanship. Beautifully curved multi-layer moulding. The underneath has one dowel on the bottom and 2 holes on the other side where it sat on the original piece of furniture which is long gone. This would be wonderful on a secretary, hall tree or even above a doorway. There are different layers giving it greath ... moredepth and interest. Measures along the bottom edge underneath 33 3/8 inches long, 1 inch thick and with the moulding at the sides about 2 1/2 inches thick; it is 16 1/4 inches in total height, the first lower arch is 2 5/8 inches thick, the total depth it would stick out if against a wall would be 5 5/8 inches. Up for auction- amazing carved wood Victorian furniture salvage. Think these were legs originally- now endless possibilities for upcycling. This auction is for 2 pieces that do come apart, if the new owner should so desire, for a total of 4 pieces. Being offered"as is as found" some scuff marks and chips, some alligatoring to the finish. Whatever they were- legs, corbels etc, they were beautifully made, dark walnut in color, not sure of the wood though. Decorated with carved scrolls, curlicues and leaves, peg construction for the 2 pieces- they fit together snugly or could be used seperately. fit together they measure 21 3/4 inches high, one end measures 11 7/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches, the other end measures 7 1/8 inches by 2 1/2 inches. This is a pair of pierce carved Victorian walnut panels with doves and leaves in the center. They each measure 14 3/4" wide x 10 1/2" high. They both have splits in the center and one is missing the tip of it's tail. The white residue you see on one panel is most likely glue. I assume someone has tried to repair them at some point. Eastlake Spoon Carved Victorian Pediment Fretwork Tiger Oak Panel
Large. Salvaged panel with spoon carved Eastlake details, 2 medallions, pierced fretwork with clovers, 4 columns. Measures 13.5 inches tall in the front and 13.25 inches in back for one long side angles back slightly. The piece measures 45.5 inches long. Has a one inch ledge. Beautiful dark tiger oak. There are two holes on the ends(one each end) and one minor chip on the very end(see photo) On the back there are scratches like someone scratch the wood when taking something off- perhaps something that was at one time behind the open fretwork. There is also a red stain- perhaps the remnants of old glue. On one of the smaller panels, there are couple of small chips on the front(see photo) Other than this, the fretwork is in great shape. Antique Eastlake Victorian SOLID WALNUT Carved& Inlaid FURNITURE FRONT PART The overall length is 24" and the width is 2" The thickness is 3/4" measurement is 13 3/4" and the tapered tips that extend into the chair slots are just a bit more that 1/2" long. This is a typical American Eastlake Victorian furniture part. The long grooves are typical as are the style of the carvings that either represent flowers or cherries. Also the strip of fancy burl grain which is overlaid in the 1" x 8" center rectangle is typical of Eastlake Victorian style. I do not know what piece of furniture this item was attached to. There is a wooden(walnut wood also) mounting bracket on the back and deep-set dadoes on each end that were used for mounting. Condition: This piece is in relatively good condition for its age. Vintage Wood Pediment with Carved Head Bishop Cardinal Victorian Topper Header
This pediment is 36 1/4" long and about 8 1/4" tall. And features a wood carved head. I am not sure of the wood(I think walnut but could be wrong) for the pediment. The carved head is some type of other wood and looks like it was added to the pediment later and is a different lighter color wood. The head is wearing some type of priest or bishop hat. It would make a beautiful accent piece or topper for an armoire, mirror, door frame or other project.
