The legs have a very interesting design with a red painted flower separating the top and bottom of legs. Has a fancy design going all around the rim where the glass drops in. Also has red painted X design on all 4 sides of rim. This table could easily have tile added if you remove the glass. The is 18 5/8" long with the handles, and 14 7/8" wide. And 6" tall and about 3/4" thick. It has a beveled edge as you can see in the first picture. The last picture is of the back. I don't see any visible cracks or major flaws. There is what looks like a rust stain that measures about 1 1/2" long, the darker spots that you can see, and a textured, unpolished surface. 25 Board Feet Finished Wild Black Cherry Table Top Pieces
Auction is for 4 pieces of wild black cherry finished table top pieces in excellent condition with only minor patina on the finished surfaces from age(made in early 1960s) The grade of lumber used to make these was top grade fancy lumber as you can see in the pictures. There isn't any damage on the surfaces with only very minor age checking in the finish- very hard to see. This is perfect lumber for rebuilding old quality furniture or making a new piece given it includes both halves of a table top and the 2 side boards that drop down. I do not believe the manufacturer of this table doweled the boards together so it would be easy to pull them apart with not too much effort. In total these 4 pieces are 25 board feet of fancy cherry lumber in a finished state. The side panels weigh 16 lbs. each and the table top halves each weigh 20 lbs. each. Total shipping weight of the package will be close to 80 lbs. Local pick up is prefered unless the buyer has a shipping method they want to use and arrange it. Due to the weigh of the pieces. The base of this stand is made from from a vintage Edison Dictaphone machine- the rolls would have been stored below and the recording machine fit on the top of the stand. A large lot of Antique Furniture and Architectural items. ======================================================= I couldn't show it all in 12 pictures but the main items are pictured and everything you see is included. Many of these pieces need some attention. Fixing up, or restoration. They were left in a house I purchased from a Antique dealer. I moved them to my warehouse many years ago. Which I have just leased, and so I am offering all of it. I am open to all reasonable offers for all or part. ================================================== Marble turtle top table has a very good original marble ... moretop. A good frame and the original casters. It is missing a cross piece at the base and a dog has chewed on one of the other cross pieces. The marble is not cracked, chipped or stained. Wurlitzer piano in in very good condition and was used by the previous owner in his store on a regular basis. For a small piano it has a very large sound. I know of nothing wrong with it other than 3 keys which are just the least bit sticky. It is fully strung. Probably needs to be tuned. The woodwork and finish are very good and just needs a dusting and some Liquid Gold. Tall Antique Hutch is in very good condition. It is in a unfinished state of restoration. I have all of the original hinges. Pulls and screws. The center door needs a piece of glass and a center shelf or two. I have the key and it works the lock mechanism. It needs to be stripped, sanded, and finished. When it is done it will be excellent. It stands, sturdy and solid, not rocking or creaking. Is close to 7 foot tall and 4 foot wide. 3 Belgian Leather Deer are in really good condition. With no tears or cracking of the leather. From a local estate this table base was removed from a 44" round oak top that was warped leaving it unusable. I have the nice old screws that attached the top I can give those to the new owner. The base is beautiful oak wood with what looks like original finish that has darkened somewhat over the years. The base has large knuckle paws on each of the four feet with graceful but sturdy legs going into the center column. The column has turned wood designs with a reeded lower portion that gives it pretty detail. My husband left the top expansion connectors on the base. These are dovetailed and slide in and out to expand your table when the leaves are added. We thought it might help someone if you buy this and decide they are not needed we can remove them before shipping. Take a look, all you need is the table top! Measuring approx. 27-1/4" ... moretall to the top of the sliders. 24-1/2" tall not including the sliders. The paws are about 10" long x 4-1/4" wide measuring from paw to paw about 30" across. Big sturdy, solid piece with beautiful wood grain showing thru the finish in some areas. Again, this base was removed from a top that measured 44" diameter but I'm sure you could fit it to a 42" or larger. This base weighs 55lbs as you see it here. This would be gorgeous refinished! This is a quartersawn oak top salvaged from a Victorian era dining table. It measures aprox. 49 1/2" in diameter and is separated at the glue lines. It was originally painted. Some paint residue remains, there are some nicks and dings and scratches from use. We also have some other similar Victorian table tops presently listed. For sale is a vintage(antique? 13" diameter round glass with a slight green tint table top/ shelf. Measures just about exactly 13" in diameter and is just under 1/4" thick. Excellent condition. I did not see any chips or scratches. The outer edge is a little roughly ground by the manufacturer(smooth glass in some spots. For sale is a vintage(antique? 8-7/16" diameter round glass with a slight green tint table top/ shelf. Measures very close to 8-7/16" in diameter and is just under 1/4" thick. Good condition. Great for its age. Has a couple scratches that show up if you look for them. The outer edge has one chip that is a little noticeable and a few tiny ones that are not and is a little roughly ground by the manufacturer(smooth glass in some spots) I have a 13" and a 19" diameter matching round glass tops and offer combined shipping if you are interested. Antique Industrial Cast Iron New York Table Legs Base With 3" Butcher Style Top
Very nice heavy cast iron industrial table base with 3" thick butcher block style wood top. The legs are about 33" tall. 30" across, and 23" wide. With the wood top the table is 36" tall. It was made by H. Maidhof in New York. It has raised letters on the cross section and both arches on the legs. It has been painted a glossy black and the lettering an antique red. Was part of a railroad repair companies' work room just north of Baltimore. They were using it as a work bench. Each leg has 4 holes on the top surface so the base can easily attach to the wood top. The wood top is 36" x 48" and is a salvaged piece from an old restaurant in the eastern WV area. It was refinished at some point but some of the lacquer is a little spotty from use.
