It has no breaks or repairs, but it also does not sit flat(see further description) The height is adjusted by loosening the 7/8" hex head bolt on the upper part of the cast iron base. Moving the top piece, and then re-tightening the bolt. This pedestal was designed to be screwed to the floor. When it is screwed fast. The screws prevent it from wobbling. When it is not screwed down, it does not sit flat, so it will need to be affixed to something flat(like a board) or have adjustable feet added(threaded chair glides and some nuts would work) or be shimmed(layers of felt, glued together to accommodate the varying distance between the base's rim and the floor) etc. If you have any questions. Four Antique Claw and Glass Ball Table Chair Legs Eagle Feet Cast Iron Faces
Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. Antique Ball & Claw FACE Leg Chair Table Marble
Picture#5 looks a little green to me but the leg is white. The item is 5" long and the opening is 1" across. I would say cast metal. I love the face on the claw.

SET OF 4 ANTIQUE GLASS BALL & CAST CLAW FURNITURE FEET - CHAIR, TABLE, STOOL
These ball and claw feet were removed from an antique. Likely Victorian era, table but are the right diameter for a chair or stool. They are heavy cast metal and clear glass. The white on our photo is flash reflection. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. The cast claws are in beautiful condition, of course not as polished(gold color) as they once were but likely they can be professional polished or plated. They measure 4" tall from the bottom of the glass, i.e. the floor, to the top. The top openings are about 3/4" in diameter. The fronts are lovely acanthus leaves with a hole in the back where one would put the screw to attache them firmly to the wooden furniture leg. Please ask any questions. Beautiful antique wooden twisted spindle for furniture repair. These are lovely and made early. I unfortunately broke the table that they were attached to. They measure 20 7/8" long not including the peg. The base end of the spindle is 11/16" The top of the spindle is 3/4" I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. Two 18" Victorian table legs never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. They are about 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" at their widest on the top and the rail is 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" thick. They are Rams Horn and Foot design. I got them from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc.

Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair. These 4 legs were found in an old barn. They have a very unique design and are in good shape for their age. As stated above there is one leg that has a crack in the wood but doesn't go all the way through(I have 2 pics that show where the crack is located) They will be a good item to make something with. The legs are 18" long. Top part of leg is 1 1/2" wide, bottom part of leg is 2" wide the widest part of the leg is 3" wide.
