Here is an Antique Singer treadle sewing machine cast iron leg. Good condition. Wheels turn free. It was repainted in a cream color a LONG time ago, which seems to have prevented rust. There are no cracks. It has a nice ring when tapped. Please see the photos for the size of this item. These were sold in several different sizes. This was used on a full size Singer. Antique New Home treadle sewing machine parlor cabinet shelf swing out drawers
Antique New Home treadle sewing machine parlor cabinet shelf swing out drawers. Two of the drawers swing out. The other shelf is fixed. This is from a 1914 New Home machine. The rest of the cabinet is severely cracked and split. These are the only items I was able to salvage. I do not know if Singer brand used these same parts. It includes the screws I took out. Please look close at the pictures. They are not broken or cracked. Its sad someone used this cabinet to set potted plants on. The swing out piece measures 11 1/2 inches high x 9 inches wide. joe calcite INDUSTRIAL OAK& CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS STAND BASE This offering is for a set of cast iron sewing machine legs/ stand. BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE. I've seen the queen anne style legs, with the curve and'shoulder' part of the cast iron. In this case, the cast iron legs come with oak legs with a groove in the back to fit snugly over the iron and screw on from the rear. This gives you the option of using just the iron legs, or dressing them up with oak as your mood and decor dictate. To complete the transformation, I have included the trim pieces from the original upper cabinet so that the oak runs top to bottom. Unfortunately, the lower 5" of one is broken off, but placed on the side facing a wall or sofa, it would go unnoticed by most. Given the unique character, many wouldn't care. There are no cracks or breaks ... morein the iron. The paint was originally brown. But is now heavily worn with some light rust in places. The finish on the oak was dried out and flaking badly, so the rest of the finish was removed with a stiff brush and the exposed faces were clear coated. The wood itself is also worn. The legs measure 16" wide at the top, 13.5" wide at the bottom. Total height is 28" The stretcher is 23" wide, but can be replaced with a heavy threaded rod to place them closer together or further apart. Casters work but have a few flattened spots where its been dragged perpendicular to the wheels. Antique Standard Sewing Machine Front Swivel Pull Out Drawer and Frame
Here is a cool front drawer for an early Standard sewing machine. It has a very nice attached front wood carved decoration. Inside is a fairly deep almost 1" tool drawer still with its original needle to thread chart on the inside and 7 large circle to store spools of thread and 6 smaller holes to store needles? It is mounted in a 3 sided metal frame with 2 screws. The hole on the underside is where there is a straight slot screw that turns the knurled screw(seen on the top of the drawer) into a drilled hole to let the drawer swing out from under where it is mounted. This can be reused almost anywhere you can drill a starting hole for the screw and have at least about 3/4" thick top to mount it to. Very strong tiger striped oak and patina. You are buying ONE(1) Singer sewing machine drop front drawer. 14 1/4 opening. 14 7/8 total length 3 7/8 opening.4 1/8 total height 2 3/4 inch protrusion into the base cabinet. Please note that these old drawers had wooden knobs that did not take screws to hold them in. they had wooden screw threads and screwed into the drawer and they become weak with time. this one is still pretty strongly held but a really energetic person can pull it out of the socket.

The panel is 14-1/2 inches long. 5-1/4 inches wide and 3/16 inch thick. It has an applied beaded trim on the bottom and an applied wood round at one end. The applied New Home nameplate is 11-1/4 inches long and 3 inches wide. The condition is very good with the original finish and no bends or cracks in the wood. Up for auction is a great looking antique cast iron wheel or gear recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It would be wonderful for any steampunk project. It has a grooved exterior rim which leads us to believe it may have had a padded piece at one time for hand turning a sewing machine. But just an educated guess. This measures 12" and has a piece that comes to a point that would have fit into the mechanism for turning something, but we do not believe it to be coffee grinder part. Vintage New Home Hanging Sign Salavaged Sewing Machine Cabinet Wood Panel
Here is a great piece of salvaged wood. That I believe came from the front of an antique NEW HOME sewing machine cabinet. What is so cool is that they kept it intact with the corner pieces so that it can actually be hung as a sign if you choose. There are hinges on the back that attach the NEW HOME piece to the rest of the frame. The total piece measures about 20" wide, and about 8 3/4" tall, and 2 1/4" at its deepest.
