SET of 4 Mid Century Iron Metal 28" HAIRPIN LEGS Vintage Heavy Duty
joe calcite SET of 4 MID CENTURY HEAVY DUTY HAIRPIN LEGS This offering is for a set of 28" tall hairpin legs made of heavy 1/2" thick metal rod. There is a small metal'button' foot welded on the end of each leg. These legs are made differently than is typical. Which can be seen in the photos. This attachment system seems to be stronger/ sturdier. Also, it allows for the legs to be spread or squeezed slightly when attached to get a thinner or wider appearance. These have all been wire brushed. Rust primered, and sprayed with one coat of black enamel. The result is a nice clean finish. However, i may well have missed a few spots, and there will likely be dings from shipping, so anticipate a second coat of black. Wooden table legs. These came off a coffee table with a lower shelf. Two of these wooden table legs are 14 1/2 inches long, and 2 are 6 1/2 inches long. All 4 are 1 3/4 inches across the top and taper down to 3/4 of an inch at the bottom. Included is 4 wooden table legs and 4 metal brackets to attach them to the table. The 4 legs are in good, solid condition, no gouges, cracks or repairs, but the stain has faded with age and the color ... moreis no longer consistant. They also have scuffs and wear marks. You may want to re-finish them. The metal tips are probably brass, but I have no way to know for sure. They could probably be polished. The metal brackets are all in great condition. They have 5 holes to secure them to the table and measure 2 5/8 inches by 2 7/8 inches. Please be sure to inspect all the pictures for condition before buying. As always. Vintage hairpin legs 12" set 4 table chair Eames metal midcentury modern atomic
Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair.
