These cast iron adjustable table legs date early 1900s. They are embossed KENNEY BROS& WOLKINS BOSTON N5. The legs measure each 13" across the bottom. 8 1/2 X 4 3/4" at the top; from 18" tall in the lowest to 24 1/2" in the highest position. Condition is very good. No cracks or breaks.

joe calcite INDUSTRIAL CAST IRON WORKBENCH/ TABLE LEGS This offering is for a set of vintage or antique cast iron table or workbench(work bench) legs. These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. The usable space between the front and back legs, for a shelf for instance, is 15" The distance from the back of the splash brace to the front lip is 30.5" Distance between the outer edges of the front and back feet is 24" Each leg weighs just under 60 pounds. Here we have a pair of antique cast iron adjustable table legs. These Machine Age legs can go as high as about 20 1/4 inches and as low as about 13 1/2 inches. This is a very nice 2 tier or multi tier antique cast iron base that was made by Kenney Bros. Wolkins Inc. of Boston MA. It would make a great stand or end table and was originally part of an early school desk. It measures 29 1/2" high x 23" deep. The base is 11" wide x 16" deep, the bottom tier is 16 1/2" from the floor and is 9 1/2" in diameter, the upper tier is 29 1/2" from the floor and is 10" wide x 8 1/2" deep. Up for sale is this incredible industrial stand for a coffee or end table. It's extremely heavy and is all cast iron. It does not have any markings. Other than the number"2" It's adjustable at the fork. With both sides raising and dropping. At the lowest, it measures approximately 16 1/4, at the tallest it measures approximately 19 1/2" It is very sturdy and has screw holes in the base where it can be attached to the floor. I gave these legs a quick wipe down with a cloth to remove any loose surface dirt or dust. These adjustable Kenney Bros& Wolkins Boston Mass legs are made of solid cast iron. The height on this set adjusts from 15 ½” at the lowest setting and 20” at the highest setting. The top brackets have a span of 7 6/8” across and each side measures 3 ½” long and is 1 1/8” wide. There are 4 pre-drilled holes in the top brackets. 2 on each side. The bottom has a span of 12” and there are two pre-drilled holes in each ... morefoot. These legs stands on their own. The legs are marked on the front curved leg piece near the bottom with KENNEY BROS& WOLKINS BOSTON MASS and 3L and 3R on the cross bar. Respectively. The top portion of each leg is also marked 3L or 3R, along with No. 7 and lined increments going down with the numbers 6, 5, 4, and 3. The leg that is marked 3L has a manufacturing flaw in the cast iron on the top curved support brace.it is not a crack and is in no danger of coming apart or not holding weight. Antique Machine Age Industrial Cast Iron Table Base Legs Vintage Metal Victorian
Item Details Description Set of antique Machine Age industrial table legs. These table bases are about 28-1/2 inches tall. The top mounting area is about 12-1/2" inches wide. The feet of the legs are about 18 inches apart when measured from toe to toe. As you can see from the photos these legs have places for the stabilizer bars which are included. The stabilizer bars bolt through the legs and attach to the bottom of the top. Legs will need to be about 25" apart to use the stabilizer bars on the angle they fit to the legs. You could go longer if desired. One leg gas small crack in the top cross piece by the finial. And there is a casting imperfection(bubble) on the leg just below the cross piece on the same leg. The legs and stabilizer bars have been sandblasted lightly using Q-Rock glass sand. There is some pitting damage to the ... moreone foot but doesn't look bad. Paint or use Stove Black to finish the surface. Includes both legs and both stabilizer bars as shown. Weight 28 lbs without packaging. Note: I work double shifts and odd hours at my real job. RARE 8+ FEET ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL CAST IRON LATHE DECK BASE LEGS TABLE RESTAURANT
RARE! ANTIQUE INDUSTRIAL LATHE DECK BASE LEGS TABLE RESTAURANT CONFERENCE We found this amazing piece in an old barn in rural Washington state. The old-timer that sold it to us said that it came out of a machine shop& milling operation that had been in business since the early 1900's and he purchased it from them"a long while back" It will be beautiful restored and put back in service or leave it as is and create an amazing conference table. Restaurant table or bar. It is heavy- he estimated about 1.300 pounds. It is very solid and in exceptionally good condition with no cracks we can see. It has been quickly power washed but still has grease, grime and dust on it. The legs are bolted to the deck with square bolts- 4 top each side but one side is missing a bolt. There is a section on one end on one side that has been cut ... moreout- probably modified after the fact, but we aren't sure. There are holes in each foot for mounting. There are no maker marks or tags that we can see.
