The only defect I can find is a small chip in one of the wheels.see the photo) I'm not sure if it's an old chip or defect in the casting. Two of the wheels appear as though the holes weren't drilled through after the casting. The wheels are the largest I've seen and with a weight of almost 11 lbs. each. This is a very nice pair of vintage steel adjustable legs. The height adjusts from 21 1/2" to 26" and they are 7" wide x 4" deep at the top and 12 1/4" wide at the bottom. They are in good condition with no breaks or repairs. Some minor surface rust. We also have a similar pair of smaller legs presently listed. This is a vintage adjustable steel base with cross stretcher. It measures aprox. 21" wide. 19 1/2" wide at the top x 13" deep at the feet and adjusts in height from 14 1/2" to 21" the brackets at the top are 4" and splay or taper out to 7 1/2" There is a rod inside the cross stretcher and you adjust the height by turning one of the nuts on the side, there is a cog or gear mechanism connected to the rod. VINTAGE INDUSTRIAL LEGS Vintage Industrial Legs. Beautiful steel legs dating back to the 1960s. Solid construction made out of heavy gauge welded steel. Matching pair. Pieces were removed from a vintage workbench and would make a great base for a table. Desk, or stand. Legs measure 32" tall. Tops are 29.5" wide x 3" thick. Bottom feet have tabs with holes to fasten the piece to the ground. Feet are approx 5" wide. The bracket could be used for a shelf and sits at 10.5" tall. There are spots for mounting. Great condition. Original gray paint. Has light marks all over for an industrial aged patina. Structurally sound with no bend or breaks. One screw mount on the table top is damaged. These are solid steel and built to last, the paint is all original, the lesg ahs ings, dents, scratches, twists and paint loss, so they are pretty cool.
