Antique Walnut and Burled Side Lock SIX-DRAWER CHEST with key
This beautiful side lock dresser has six drawers. It is 55.5 inches tall(this doesn't include the decoration on the top) it is 35.5 inches wide and 19 inches deep. It is a side lock and we have the key. This is an antique and is in very good condition. But it is not in perfect condition.

EARLY 1900's 5-DRAWER BABY DRESSER W WOODEN ANIMAL DRAWER KNOBS with LOCK& KEY, Please note: This dresser is for local pick- up but I would be willing to deliver this within a 200 mile radius of Terre Haute for a reasonable delivery charge. Another option is this could also be shipped. But it would be expensive. The dresser by itself weighs 85 lbs. I recently went to a local furniture store and got a commercial grade cardboard box to ship this in if needed. The box is made of HEAVY DUTY cardboard. The total weight to ship this dresser would be around 105- 115 lbs. Now I would like to share ... morewith you some important information about this truly beautiful baby dresser. This belonged to my great- aunt Mary and she originally bought this new from the Loomis and Hart Furniture Company of Chattanooga. Tennessee. She had her only son in the fall of 1905. My mother said she bought this in the early part of 1906( information from family letters) My mother also said my great- aunt was so proud of this dresser and liked that it had the wooden square animal drawer pulls on it and that was the main reason she bought it. I have no idea what the originally color was to this. Maybe white? I tried to figure it out by looking at the top but I know. I wanted to do some research on this dresser so I called a good friend of mine who knows a lot about American furniture and he said very little information is known about the Loomis Furniture Company. I then went to the web and found very little information also. I found out that they were originally in the lumber business and started in 1866. Very little early furniture is listed on the web from this company. I welcome you to do your own search and I believe you will come up with the same result as I had. In closing I truly wish
