It is made of solid wood, and has a delicate inlay on the drawer fronts. The dresser has floral glass pulls on it that I am sure are not original to the dresser. They are very pretty, are larger in diameter, and are mostly in good condition but some of them have some chips, particularly towards the back where they are touching the wood. The dresser drawers used to have locks in them, but now only have holes in these areas. The dresser has dovetail joints that I believe are English dovetails.

The 2" diameter glass knobs are very good with no chips or cracks. The brass on the knobs have the old patina and will need polished if you want them shiny. The locks are in good working condition and have a dead bolt. 4 lock sets have the square shank key with 1 3/8" diameter key hole covers. 1 lock set has the key hole cover. But no key, and 1 lock set doesn't have a key hole cover or a key. The 2 1/4" diameter fibre rosettes that fit behind the knobs are in good condition with no breaks. But a couple of the rosettes do have a few chips where the knob seats. The plate on the lock measures 7/8" by 3 3/4" and 3/1/8" between screw holes. Antique Octagonal Milk Glass Door Knob
Antique octagonal milk glass door knob. This is an excellent example of the type. There are no scratches on the glass and absolutely no chips or cracks. The nickel plating in great condition for its age but does show a little wear as noted in the photos. It was previously painted. But the paint has been carefully removed. The knob is firmly anchored to the base with no slack or looseness whatsoever. The internal threads are clean. I unfortunately do not have the original screw, but the threads are common and can be replaced easily from any hardware store. The knob is 2 1/4" across and uses a standard size 5/16" square threaded spindle. Posted with

Antique Wooden Medical Cabinet White Porcelain Knob Original Glass
For your consideration is this wonderful wooden medical cabinet fromthe turn of the century. It has very old white paint that has crackled and it has it's original wavy glass. Four iron mounting brackets and white porcelain knob. The cabinet measures 21 5/8" tall by 17 3/4" wide and is 6 3/4" deep. One of the bottom brackets is missing an original screw(each bracket takes two) as shown, the rest are all there. The magnets that hold the door closed seem to have been added, they are old but not as old as the cabinet. This is a great old cabinet for use in the powder room or as a display cabinet. This is an antique door knob set that was purchased at an estate sale. Please see photos for details. The glass does need cleaned. I could not find any big chips or cracks, some of the residue on the glass, I am unable to tell if it's small chips, scratches- when I tried to see if it was a scratch, it did come off. It does need restoration. The knobs measure 2" The center bar is approximately 6-7mm. I believe the building it came from was either a funeral home or church based on the information card that each piece description was on. The cards read. Here is a nice. Old black glass ink blotter, nicer than average because the handle is glass too. Also a good heavyweight one, weighs nearly 1 lb. before packing. Below the glass top, it is wood, painted black. It has a new piece of paper on it. The size overall is about 5 inches long x 3 in. wide. It does have some teensy nicks& chips. Vintage TIN CAKE SAVER Wood Plate & Glass Knob carrier metal cover server Green
Vintage Cake Saver. Cover. Marked lightly on bottom of wood base plate and hard to read, I think it is"Empeco" also has quite a bit more hard to read writing. Tin/metal cover with glass knob. Base plate is made of wood(very unusual) Rare type. Hard to find. 13 inch diameter and 5 inches tall overall excluding the top knob. Wood base plate diameter is 13 inches. Metal cover is 12 inch diameter at bottom and slopes upward to 10 1/2 inch diameter on top. It weighs about 3 pounds. Color is a bit darker green than it appears in photos. I do not see any serious dents to the metal. There is some paint loss most notable on top with heavy wear to the paint around the glass knob. Has a nice floral stem and leaf pattern that was possibly hand painted. The wood base plate was made wood strips that were joined togeather. One of the joints in ... moreparticular is separating(see photo#7) but it is still sturdy and sound. I have made note of any breaks. Damages, or repairs that I see. This item is very old and cosmetic appearance is nowhere near perfect. Some age and wear as would be expected on an item this old. Still looks nice. See photos for cosmetic appearance. Victorian This is a Victorian drape hook. The drapery hook is made of glass. Inside the glass is a bouquet of beautifully detailed flowers with a background in deep red magenta. The glass piece is set in brass. There is a screw attached to the back. The screw is 1 1/2" in length. Of which 1" is threaded. The hook is round and the glass is 5/8" thick. It is 1 3/4" in diameter. Including the brass rim. The overall depth of the drapery hook is 2 1/4" Including the screw. This Victorian drapery hook is from an estate. It is not marked. Straight from an estate sale is this vintage Chilton Ware aluminum coffee pot. It stands 7"tall and is 3.5" across the base. The bottom is marked Chilton Ware. It makes 5cups. It has a black bakelite plastic like handle and a glass knob. The inner basket is included. There is a ding on the bottom. The aluminum surface has some scratches. Penn Antique Restoration. Antique"Russwin" Bronze Entry Door Set w/Knob. Pull, Lock, Plates Superb. Antique, exterior door, pull set salvaged from Southwestern Pennsylvania. The set consists of 1 bronze pull consisting of 2 square, back plates and thumb latch; 1 round, bronze, mortise cylinder plate; 1 octagon-shaped glass knob w/brass shank;1 bronze rosette; 1 brass thumbturn; 1 steel mortise lock with a bronze faceplate; 1 bronze mortise cylinder with 1 working bronze key and bronze anti-theft collar; 1 bronze strike plate for the door jamb; 1 2-piece, threaded spindle to connect the knob; and 2 brass bolts and washers, and 2 iron nuts and washers to secure the pull. All parts, except for the pull were made by, Russwin" of New Britain, CT sometime between 1900& 1920. All brass/bronze parts are solid, heavy, thick, cast ... morebrass/bronze, not stamped or plated iron. The lock is fully reversible and could accommodate the swing of any door. We found the parts with a nice. Rich, patina, which we opted to leave. There are a couple streaks of white paint on the handle. But the rest is tarnish. I f you prefer a more cleaned and polished look. We can clean thr set prior to shipping so for a charge of $30-email us after the auction if you are interested. The beauty of the parts are only matched by their superb condition. All parts are in fine shape with only the light nicks and scratches. That you would expect to find on century-old hardware. Otherwise there are no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or gouges. We opened, inspected, and sprayed machine oil on and around all internal parts of the mortise lock to facilitate their movement. 1930's AUTO GEAR SHIFT KNOB MARBLED COBALT BLUE SWIRL GLASS VERY NICE !
This is a nice marbled cobalt blue and milk glass gear shift knob and it measures approx. 2 inches across. This example has side"ribs" and it has an opening to allow for the gear shifter. This example includes the lead? metal insert to allow for the shifter. It is in nice condition with only a couple tiny. Tiny small blemishes, dings or bruises that are all along the upper portions of the knob. This knob has the nicest, dar kest cobalt blue with the best swirls that we are yet to offer. It also includes the insert and most all of those we have sold have been without it. These m ost always have faults around the opening or t iny blemishes. Chips or tiny bruises but this one is very nice. The insert does have thread problems and some faults but it is present and any of these tiny faults a re hard to see and any of these faults are ... morealso difficult to photograph. This is a great looking knob and it has not been cleaned or polished. This example has great color with the darkest portions extending across the top giving it a great appearance. A really great looking example with deeper. Darker and much more prevalent colored swirls than normally seen. see pictures) This description is simply to be as accurate as possible. The lid is yellow tin with a vegetables design on it, and it has a red wooden knob h andle! It measures approx. 3" across and 5" tall not including the handle. It is in very good condition.
