This is a sturdy wood antique Victorian 3 drawer dresser with period trim and light carving. The brass pulls are original and ornate and should be stripped to show their true beauty. This is a compact apartment size piece that would fit easily into a shabby chic decor. It could use a new coat of paint. Each of the drawers has a keyhole and lock though sadly the keys are long gone though they seem to be very standard and therefore replaceable. The drawer depths ascend in size; top drawer 6" deep. Solid Cherry Desk Vanity w/ Inlay, Orig. Mirror & Brass Pulls, Glass Top
Vanity was purchased in North Carolina. It is an strong/solid furniture that has been well taken care of by one owner. It has a thick cut(deep south glass) to cover the top. The previous owner had photos of her family and places they had gone under the glass top. It was quite moving showing what seemed to be most important in her family's life span. There is a slight dark spot on top left side of vanity that seems to been from something hot being laid on the top but is not real noticeable. It is where one would probably have items for their dressing table covering the area with decorative powder dish or jewelry box. I could easily see this vanity being handed down through many generations of a family.

pretty small dresser, four drawer..from 30's, brass pulls, adj. mirror
You are looking at a pretty four drawer dressser from the 1930's. It has solid brass shell motif pullls. Dove tailed drawers, an adjustable mirror and curved wood details on bottom of front, medallion in front center and under mirror. The dresser looks rough.I have lightly sanded it.was intending to paint it in pastels. I do not know the wood.did not pay attention to that as I was going to paint the item. The mirror shows age as seen in photo. This is a heavy piece.not flimsy. The dimensions are width: 40 inches, the depth is 21 inches, the height is 34 inches and from the top of the mirror to floor is 67 inches. I am selling for half of whatI paid for the item. Solid Maple and Walnut Burl Antique Dresser, Vintage Replaced Brass Pulls - NICE
Being offered from the longtime owner's heir is this excellent quality American made antique dresser in solid maple with a walnut top and burl trim. Only the brass pulls appear to be replacements. We do not see any veneer being used. Surfaces and edges show wear from normal use but no obvious signs of abuse. Drawers still pull out straight. And feels solid not wobbly. Measures 43" high x 39-1/2" wide x 24-1/2" deep. See photos zoomed for details and verify. The main body of the dresser and drawers appear solid maple. The top is walnut with a beautiful burl trim on front edge. A very masculine style that never gets old. For local pickup in Gainesville.
