Chest has very nice carved feet front and back with bowed top as well as bowed front. It measures approx 22" tall including swivel mirror. 12 1/4" wide at feet, and 9" deep at feet and has 2 small drawers at top and l larger drawer at bottom. Mirror is in fine condition. The small drawers each measure approx 5 3/8" x 4" x 2 1/2" deep. The one on the right has a smaller pull than the others but it appears to have been put on at the same time. Bottom drawer measures approx 9 3/8" x 8" x 3 3/8" deep. Bottom drawer has original lock(no key) and is lined with a silver color paper which appears to be very old. It is 38.5" long, 19" deep, ... moreand 33.5" tall. I am unsure of the age of the dresser. It is quite old, and most likely dates to the 19th or very early 20th Century. It is made of solid wood, and has a delicate inlay on the drawer fronts. The dresser has floral glass pulls on it that I am sure are not original to the dresser. They are very pretty, are larger in diameter, and are mostly in good condition but some of them have some chips, particularly towards the back where they are touching the wood. The dresser drawers used to have locks in them, but now only have holes in these areas. The dresser has dovetail joints that I believe are English dovetails.

Antique American Miniature Chest of Drawers Hand Painted Decoration Early Doll
This middle 19th century chest is crafted of ash and walnut with thin pine wood backing and square nail construction. It measures 12 ¼” tall x 13 ¼” wide x 7 ½” deep and has lovely turned walnut knobs and lively side cuts at the base. The top and drawer faces feature red striped edges framing free-hand floral decoration in red and green under an original layer of golden varnish. The drawer fronts are excellent; the top has a split along the back edge. Round water marks and wear to the paint. This chest is fresh from a northern Indiana estate and has un-touched dirty surface. I don’t think the surface has been enhanced since the 1800s but you will note numerous round, wire nail repairs along the back rabbet into which the back slips with some splits and wood loss. Antique Federal Style Flame Mahogany Dresser w/ Mirror Chest of 6 Drawers Bureau
Antique Federal style mirrored dresser or chest of drawers dating from the early 1900's. Stunning flame mahogany veneers grace the surfaces of this piece and are decorated with intricate contrasting inlay. An inlay medallion of a lamp has been placed atop the swivelling mirror. This piece has six drawers ina 3 over 3 configuration. Providing ample storage space. All the drawers are made with high quality dovetail construction. The entire piece is raised off of the ground by short tapered square legs sitting on brass and wood casters. Overall. This piece is in good condition. There is some noticeable silver loss to the mirror(see pictures) but no cracks or other damage. Feet mostly original w/ repairs and restorations, c. 1770-90 Item# 120010OEY02 This is a beautiful bachelor's chest with fine proportions. Crafted of solid cherry wood throughout all primary surfaces. The case is crafted entirely using dovetail joinery, noting the sides which lock to the top with a half-blind dovetail, covered with a fine molded rim; the bottom mirrors the top construction, and the drawer divider bars dovetail into the face of the chest. These are of only partial depth, not full dustboards, typical of New England designs as it lessened the overall weight of the chest. The facade is four graduated drawers with bold batwing brasses, each replaced using nearly the same holes, ... morethe brasses of the same age as the chest. The drawer construction shows exquisite attention to detail, note the channeling along the top of the drawer framing, a design characteristic of Massachusetts(though also seen throughout other New England states) The sides of the chests wear fine brass carrying handles, each of magnificent proportions with original hand forged screws locking them to the chest. They are likely added to the chest, though since the chest would not have had brasses on the sides of the chest to start with this is difficult to prove. The chest rests on scroll cut bracket feet, mostly original with mostly original blocking, the right side of the feet replaced in exact replication of the rest of the chest. This is a gorgeous piece. A visual delight and crafted with utmost attention to detail. The cherry boards have a wonderful jagged flamed grain with just a tinge of the soft red hue associated with a natural cherry. With a clean overall appeal and a deep patina glowing through the high polish finish, this is a piece that will enhance your living spaces. I bought this beautiful Basic-Witz 5 Drawer Chest with matching Headboard at an estate sale. I love it but it doesn't fit where I need it. It is solid wood. It is a beautiful walnut color in amazing condition. The son of the lady who owned it told me that his parents were married in the 1940s and this is the bedroom furniture that they started with. Antique Cherry 2 over 4 chest of drawers with mirror from Penn State Dorms
I purchased this from Penn State University as a student in 1989 as they were selling all of the original dorm furniture from one of their buildings. Most likely made by Pennsylvania House furniture of cherry. 2 upper drawers have keyholes but I do not have the key. Mirror pivots on swivels. The back had been replaced with a piece of paneling. Dovetail construction with original feet. The brass knobs are all similar but do not match exactly. Bottom drawer has some wear where it rubs against the slider. May actually be walnut instead of cherry.
