This is a old wooden carved arch. It is in original condition. I do not know what it came off from but it has a lot of carvings. I have another one in another auction. This one is 23 long 11 tall 3 inchs thick. Thanks for looking

This is a quite superb wooden mahogany pediment of which during our research we have been informed it dates from the early period of the 19th century. Dates about c1820. Probably of english origin. Certainly a wonderful mahogany pediment with the circular recess centrally. Other carvings to either side of with leaves. Has a mount to the rear at the base. Has an overall height of about 5inches. Overall max length of about 12inches. Max depth to the bottom of about 2.5inches with the depth of the top of about 1inch. Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is good but is subject to glue repairs to both ends and centrally to the recessed circle with chipping to the back of. c1875-80 DECORATIVE hand carved wooden victorian GABLE pediment 103 x 28 x 9"
AWESOME gingerbread design on this gable pediment that came out of western NY state. Has hand carved wooden relief with floral design. The pattern is a little hard to discern from the photos but it is very prominent when seen in person. Great LOOK! Solid piece- wonderful victorian design- circa 1880 vintage! Measures 103" long is 28" at peak& 9" deep. Old square nails are studding the backside also. Old crusty white paint. Has metal flashing on bottom of front face. Bought this piece about nine years ago from a fellow salvager. Salvaged in southern Maine- GREAT circa 1820-1830 door pediment. Would make for an AWESOME head board! Old crackled white paint- other potential uses: great for shelf or mantle piece! Measures 72" long is 40" high- and 8" deep. Center height from floor to bottom of pediment is 18" height measured on edge- from floor to top of pediment edge = 27.5" Will need to ship with a blanket wrap service. Vintage Wooden Pediment Salvaged from Silex Missouri Late 1800's Very Nice
This very old Pediment was salvaged from Silex Missouri. Silex is in the process of being torn down due to flooding over several years. Fema stepped in and relocated the town and all the old houses are being demolished. Most are gone already. We were fortunate enough to win the bid to gain salvage rights to the entire town, which produced alot of architecture like the one we are selling. This piece measures 7 ft. long from bottom point to bottom point and from the center bottom to the top point it stand 4 ft. tall. It was very loose when we brought it down from the 3 story gable. So once in our shop we tighented the whole thing up by placing screws thru the back so as not to take away from the appearance of this piece. It is in good condition now. The spears that are in the half circle are from another pediment from the same house, we used ... moreit to help piece together the parts that where missing. Unforunately the other one was in very poor condition and could only be used to give life back to this wonderful piece. I am selling this for local pickup only or buyer can arrange to have it shipped. I have no problem storing it for a few weeks til it can be picked up. Buyer pays all shipping and insurance. From an estate. Is this wonderful primitive pediment. It is a one piece carved piece featuring fruit and leaves. Beautiful old patina gives it a walnut like color, but it looks like an oak grain. I'm not an expert on wood, so you can make the call on the type of wood, but leaning more toward walnut because it's not super heavy like oak. It measures about 26" wide x 14 1/2" high and is almost 2" thick at the top. There are 2 pegs on the underside that lead me to believe it once went into a picture frame, mirror or other piece of furniture. There is a little light chipping on the underside/outermost edges. Otherwise, very good condition. A wonderful addition to your antique/primitive décor.

Antique Victorian 16.5" English Wooden Shell Motif Pediment Walnut / Mahogany
This is an Antique/ Vintage 16 1/2" Wooden Shell Motif Pediment. The pediment was purchase in England. We assume it was probably made there. But we do not know for sure, nor do we know specifically what its age is, but appears to us to likely be 19th Century Victorian era piece. The pediment definitely appears to be hardwood. The appearance of the grain strongly suggests the wood in probably walnut but it could possibly be mahogany or other hardwood. The pediment a great looking piece with a graceful. Very deeply carved shell design. We do not know for sure what specific type of piece it was originally part of. The measurements of the pediment excluding the 3/8" pad at the top center and the two pegs on the bottom are 16 1/2" wide x 6 1/4" high x 3 11/16" wide. The pediment is built up from three layers of wood as ... moreseen in the photo of the top. The pad on top is 3/8" tall with a 7/8" deep x 7/8" diameter hole where the peg for a finial was inserted. As found. The finial was no longer present and the pediment is offered as found in that regard. The two pins on the bottom are 3/4" long x 3/4" in diameter. The pins are on 11 1/4" centers. The pediment is a very solid. Substantial piece and it weighs about three pounds. Condition The pediment is in excellent condition with beautiful. Uniform finish, and no chips or other damage. The only, very, very minor issue I noticed is a couple of tiny circular white paint droplets on the back as seen on the photo of the back. SUPERB 19th c. GOTHIC WOODEN OAK PEDIMENT WITH WINGED GARGOYLE RELIEF CARVINGS
This is a superb gothic carved wooden oak pediment with the relief winged gargoyle carvings of which: During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century and is of a European origin. A wonderful overall intricate carved pediment with the relief carvings of the winged gargoyles to either side of the central oval. Other intricate carvings including leaves. C arved in relief with the added oval centrally. The pediment has an overall size of about 38 x 11inches. Max depth of about 2.25inches. Condition: Considering the age. The overall condition is excellent with no major blemishes. All as per pictures. Besides being a very collectable.
