There are no back legs- The ornamental ones were used in the front and plain square ones in the back. I am thinking that they may be black walnut or mahogany. They do show considerable wear and have several chipped areas. The center leg is in pretty good condition the corner legs show the most wear and damage. With a coat or two of stain these areas will not be that noticeable- and who lays on the floor to look at the legs on your couch anyway besides the dog? Vintage Wood Ball Claw Feet/Footed-Table-Carving Detail-STUNNING-Must See!
I'm not sure what type of wood this is but there are two tones(might be called inlay) A lot of carving detail on this table! Ball and claw feet.It isn't perfect. There are a couple flaws that need fixed but in the right hands I'm sure it could be amazing. I don't know about fixing them or if this one has or has not been touched previously. If anyone has any information on it I'd love to know myself. I took pictures of the under belly because I recall hearing that you can tell age by screws. I don't know myself but maybe a viewer can tell. I'm listing this for local pick-up so make me an offer I can't refuse! Feel free to ask me anything!

4 Antique Eagle Claw and Glass Ball feet with turned wood legs architectural
What amazing legs for any table. Bench or piano stool, or just for conversation piece display. The legs measure 29 1/2" tall and approximately 3" wide. The glass balls are encased in a steel/iron claw. Our décor is modern but these were fabulous. The walnut finish is mostly on but there is some missing, kind of cool as is. I purchased and there is no place to put them. However I loved them and had to have them. I know that some creative person could make these work from Victorian to Modern to Industrial.

Offered without reserve is a set of 4 vintage wood Finials or ball foot feet from the estate of an antique dealer who passed away last winter. I do not know what type of furniture these parts came off of but suspect they may have been from an old sideboard or a server. Desk etc. I do not know if they were used as feet or finials, they look hand carved. They measure approx. 7 5/8" long by 3 1/2" across. The bottoms have dowels to attach them, one has a larger dowel than the other 3. This is a fine set of used/salvaged claw and ball style carved legs. The full serpentine shape ending in a perfect ball sets these apart from other similar legs. There are some minor bumps. Nicks and scratches that only add to their period styling. The mortise and tenon joints need to be cleaned and you will be ready to use them in your next woodworking project. Each leg is 16.75" x 5" x 2.5" This item came from a furniture and design company that went out of business in the 1990's. Some pieces were removed from furniture that was in disrepair other pieces were left over stock from architectural design projects.

One of them has a crack in the casting. It is not all the way severed nor is it loose. These are not common in this size.
