This is a nice pair of porcelain enamel tops or shelves which measures 1" x 40" wide x 10" deep. I have seen these with iron brackets attached at the bottom for use as a shelf. There is a wood frame around the bottom which would make it easy to attach brackets. It has a pinkish hue to the top itself which you can see in the close-up photos and the edges are red with a white indented middle. Very good to excellent overall surface condition. Only minor scratches and a couple nicks typical from years of usage which can be seen in the pictures. Lot of 11 antique/vintage white porcelain and cast iron casters/furniture wheels. All wheels move freely. The four in top row match and measure 5" tall. Including wheel which is 1 7/8" the four in bottom row match and measure 4 1/2" including 1 3/4" wheel; first one in"middle" row is a single and measures 3 7/8" including 1 1/2" wheel; two smallest match and measure 2 3/4" including 1 1/8" wheel. A set of four iron and porcelain wheel case furniture casters. The wheels are 1 1/2" diameter and 7/8" wide. The iron shafts of the casters are 3" long and 1/2" diameter at the fattest point. Lots of large case pieces(dressers. Armoires, beds, buffets) had metal hollows in the bottom of their legs and feet made for casters such as these. All wheels spin freely. They have"tread wear" on the outside edges and rust stains around the hub. One wheel has some chipping around that center spoke too but is still perfectly useable. The metal does show some rust patina but overall for their age and rarity they are awesome. Each set are secured to each other by a wire I will leave them as found and you can take them apart. The porcelain wheels are near perfect can find no chips cracks etc and the only problem with the metal feet is some surface rust. They could stand a good cleaning they have been stored in the garage for many years. These are very old they came from my grandmothers estate sale. I've sold many of these porcelain wheels and there are a couple of things I've seen that is common with most all of them as old as these casters are. These were hand forged and will not be a perfect matching set. Some shafts are slightly longer or larger than others and there will almost always be chips and broken pieces on the wheels. After all, they are porcelain and fragile. All the sets I have listed have these common flaws, so look at the pics closely, they are not perfect by any means but they all do still roll. PAIR Antique Vintage Cast Iron White Porcelain Table or Sink Legs
I have up for sale a neat matching pair of vintage Cast Iron with Fired On Porcelain legs. I believe that they originally came off of an old sink. As they were purchased from an older gent that ran a plumbing store and along the way salvaged old plumbing related items. The legs are the type in which the sink would fit into the back section of the leg. Not sit directly on top. View pic#4 and you will see what I mean by this. The legs measure approx 26" tall and weigh approx 10 lbs apiece.
