Lot of 11 Vintage Shepherd casters gold/brass colored threaded stem
Lot of 11 Vintage Shepherd ball casters with Urethane Tread. plastic ring on wheel) One of them is missing the plastic ring but does have a nice metal ring beneath it. All plastic tread or rings could be removed if preferred. These are quite heavy and move very freely with smooth motion. They have threaded stem and some of the stems are slightly bent. VINTAGE LOT OF 1965 ANTIQUE COPPER SE2 (STEM) SHEPHERD CASTERS IN ORIGINAL BOXES
Description: vintage lot of 1965 antique copper SE2(stem) shepherd casters in original boxes. There are actually 10 SE2(stem) shepherd casters and 1 ST2(stem) shepherd caster. Two of the boxes are SE2(stem) boxes and 1 box is the ST2(stem) box. The casters come with fasteners. Measurement: 10 of the casters are satellite 2" DIA. 1 caster is starlet 1-1/2" DIA. Contents: lot of 10 1965 antique copper SE2(stem) and 1 ST2(stem) shepherd casters in original boxes. Condition: the casters are in good condition. With a few of them having copper paint chips and fading. The boxes have some wear and tear. But they are still mostly held together okay. I purchase most all the items I sell at auctions. So therefore, my items are sold as is. Questions are recommended if you are unsure of anything.

Unusual casters. I called Shepherd Casters and asked for some information on these casters. I was told they are no longer manufactured and are called soft tread ball casters. They are round but not shaped like a ball. They are more like a fat pancake. It was hard to get good pictures as they are very shiny. Our ceiling fan is reflected in the photos.
